The argonian was perched high up in a tree, scanning the jungle floor with his bright yellow eyes. He was a master hunter. Able to hold still for hours at a time, watching, waiting, for a meal to pass underneath him.

He had already been waiting most of the day when he heard an unfamiliar sound off in the distance. He waited, and as he waited the sound got closer. Off in the distance he saw three figures. Even from this distace he could tell at least one of them was an imperial soldier. The gleaming silver symbols of the empire were unmistakable. Even for someone like himself, who had only once set foot in an imperial settlement. The three figures got closer and closer. Now he could see them clearly. There was an imperial soldier, covered head to toe in silver armor, an older woman of possibly noble birth judging by the bright blue gown she wore, and a hooded figure who's face the curios argonian could not make out even as the group passed underneath him.

As they did this he smiled. Any member of his race would have seen the ebony scaled argonian well before now. But these humans with their untrained eyes saw nothing. They were far too preoccupied with themselves and their task to be wary of the jungle around them. This was likely to get them killed.

The woman called out into the jungle " Reila!" she yelled " Reila where are you!"

So they were looking for someone, thought the argonian, and the scene quickly left his mind. for he understood that whoever they were looking for would be dead by now. a lone human could not survive in the jungle.
