Grace lay encased in Boyd's arms, wishing she could stay like this forever, just being held and basking in her love for him, but this sadly, was not to be. Boyd shifted his weight and rolled over, he could hear the dawn chorus floating through the window, and he knew it was time to get up. Opening his eyes it took him a second to figure out where he was but then the memory of the night before flooded back. Grace turned to face her 'lover', a reminiscent smile greeted her as she looked at him.
"So what you so happy about then?" asked Grace hoping he was thinking the same as her,
"You don't remember! Well there's gratitude for you!" Boyd said in mock indignation,
"Well," said Grace slowly as if trying to remember every detail of the previous night, "I remember the dinner, the wine the conversation, the kiss but after that nothing special happened did it? Nothing to bring that kind of a smile to your face…"
" Nothing special! Nothing to bring…!" Boyd looked at Grace's face and saw that she was stringing him along, "Well maybe I'm just going to have to remind you then!"
