Bella sighed, looked out over the wide open sea. She saw Edward's face again upon the clouds. She shook her head wildly to try to forget about him. He'd been gone for over two years now… she had to let go of him sometime. Then why can't she? Two years ago Edward and his family had to go to the Volturi for some kind of ceremony or something alike, and he still hadn't come back.
She sighed deeply again, sat down on the cliff. The water was crystal clear, the sky was deep light blue, half covered with clouds. It was Sunday, and one of the few sunny days they actually had in Forks. She'd already last night decided that she would go to the flower field in the forest she and Edward used to enjoy the time they were together. She had been there for over the half day and when she was about to go back to her car she saw the sea as she walked across the cliff edge. She saw it calming and had stopped there to relax her legs before she continued walking. She spotted Edward's face again, twirled at the brace lace she'd gotten from him the time before he 'vanished'. She felt a tear fall, which she immediately whipped away.
I have to let go sometime… I can't hang on forever. She stood up and quickly started to walk again. She hadn't heard a single word from him during the time he'd been gone, and she'd started to assume the worst. She tried to keep her mind off of him but somehow couldn't completely.
She started the car and blasted the volume at the radio to think of something else. Last time she broke completely of thinking about him and almost crashed the car. (Ok to all of you that's in love with Edward: DON'T THINK ABOUT HIM WHILE DRIVING!! XD)
Sigh… I should talk to someone to get this off of my chest… she drove away back against Charlie's house. An hour later she stopped the car and stepped out, took her backpack and unlocked the outdoor. Charlie's shoes were gone, he wasn't home. She took her shoes off and shove the backpack into the wall, she still felt sad but tried to not show it, even if she was alone at home. She traced over to the kitchen, took something to eat and walked into the living room to watch some TV. She'd really started to get lazy at home since Charlie almost never where home and her computer was out of order. Nothing was on to watch but she was bored so she had to do something other than just sit around. Hours passed and she didn't notice that her mind dozed off completely to a dreamless sleep. She said Edward's name in sleep, as low as a whisper. Suddenly she woke up by her cell phone vibrating in her pocket. She yawned and took it out, looked at the screen. She didn't recognize the number the message was sent from. She opened it and her eyes widened.
-Bella. I'm so sorry for not have taken contact with you for so long, but so much have happened that have held me back from it. My cell phone was destroyed so I'm sending this from Rosalie's. Once again, I'm sorry for having you worry. I love you 3 Edward-
Bella felt tears fall down her cheeks, she hugged the phone tight, felt extremely happy and relieved. He was alive, and now she knew it too. She whispered an 'I love you too' before she fell back to her slumber.
