It was the night of the war. Voldemort's was dead. Hermione walked up to the Fat Lady who, other than some minor cuts and chips, was fine, swung open without a need for a password. Ron, however was sitting in the common room, talking to Seamus.

"Where are you going?" He asked

"Sleep." She replied groggily.

"Already? It's only 7:30!" He exclaimed.

"It's been a tiring day Ron."

"Yeah…" He shifted uncomfortably, not sure of what to say.

"Goodnight Ron." She smiled. She kissed him on the cheek, and Seamus whistled. They ignored him, and Hermione left. Meanwhile, Ginny had some…unfinished business to take care of. She spotted Harry in the crowds, talking to Neville.

"Hullo Neville." She greeted. She smiled and added, "Harry."

"I'll leave you kids alone…" Neville grinned, scooting away. Harry and Ginny walked into the nearest empty classroom.

"So….." Harry said, uncertainly.

"You know why we're here." Ginny said. "What's going on with us?"

"I dunno." Harry shrugged. Ginny's heart sank to her shoes. Not to the floor, but close. "I still like you." Her heart surged. "So were, er, together now?"

"I dunno." She started. "Tell me…" She paused to kiss him "Now." She finished with distinctive satisfaction.

"Yes. I think I would like that." Ginny threw her arms around him.

"Oh it was so hard…not knowing if you were dead or not." She exclaimed.

"I know. It was terrible." He replied. This time, when they kissed it was every little thing unsaid, communicated somehow.

"Oh not again!" Ron moaned, walking in. But he laughed then said, "Mum wants us to help Madam Pomfrey." It wasn't the most fun, but they had each other. And for now, thats what mattered to them
