A/N: Yes I am aware that some of this is straight out of the book but that's the beginning and it's so you know the specific part in the book that this happens. So...Tada!

"Do you want to see the rest of the house?"

"No coffin's?" I verified, the sarcasm in my voice not entirely masking the slight but genuine anxiety I felt.

He laughed, taking my hand, leading me away from the piano.

"No coffins," he promised.

(And this is where it's all me)

We walked up the stairs my hand trailing the rail. The hall beyond them was huge many doors dotting the walls. He led me down it slowly pointing out the rooms as we passed them.

We were about half way when a voice yelled out, "Could you be any louder? Some people are trying to SLEEP!"

I recognized the voice as Emmett's and then the meaning of the sentence actually hit me, "Sleep?"

Edward looked at me and then at the door that he had pointed out as Emmett and Rosalie's. He looked back at me and his face read that he was about as confused as I was. He shrugged and reached for the handle of the door.

As it swung open I saw that it was pitch dark in the room. Edward stepped in first and I watched as he surveyed a scene I couldn't see. I stepped in behind him as his eyes landed on something and he doubled over in laughter. Annoyed now, I ran my hand along the wall beside me and found the light switch. Turning it on I saw that the room we were in was large and on the against the wall not two feet away was a corpse lying in a coffin.

"AHHHHHHHHHH!!"

Then I realized what...who...it was and growled unimpressive under my breath.

"Emmett!! You are so dead! You just wait! I'll...I'll..."

"Well, technically Bella I'm already dead so...what?"

My ears had stopped hearing his words as my eyes landed on an object in the corner.

I quickly walked to it, picked i t up an walked slowly over to a too stunned to move Emmett and proceeded to beat the daylights out of him with the baseball bat.

Edward, who couldn't stop laughing by the door, dropped to his knees he was almost crying he was laughing so hard. Esme and Carlisle were by the door surveying the scene with a mixture of humor and worry on their faces.

Emmett was on the floor his instinct to shy away from the bat overriding his instinct to grab it away from me.

He probably didn't feel anything but it sure did make me feel a whole hell of a lot better.
