This will be in Lily Evans's POV
"Come on it'll be fun don't tell me you don't want some 'super happy fun time'" Laney, my friend almost yelled out.
"Calm down, please. I need to finish this essay, or else Slughorn will not be very happy," as soon as I say those words none other than Sirius Black barges through the door.
"Evans! You're head girl! This is not your common room!"
I grab my stuff, and I hurry out of the common room. My thoughts disappear for a very , then I remember, Potter is head boy. I can only smile.
Of course it seems stupid, but I like his new personality. He's matured, a lot.
"Sugar lemon," I murmur. As I walk into the heads common room, I see James Potter hunched over his potion essay. An idea springs into my head. I walk closer, and notice one of his hands holding his head up, and a finger playing with a hair on his head he must really be focused.
I drop my stuff beside the chair in front of his, and I pull out my Potions essay on Felix Felicis.
"Lily?" I look up to hazel eyes, and messy black hair.
"Hullo!" I greet him with my most charming smile. He stares at me, smiling. I smile back at him. "Potions is hard! I always would cheat off of Snivellus."
"Snivellus?"
"Yes! If he gets to call me mudblood," I spit out the word like venom, "I can call him Snivellus!"
He chuckles lightly. "I can help you?"
"You would?" I smile at the thought of him helping me. He nods, then pulls his chair beside mine.
"The first step is to add the Ashwinder egg first, not the horseradish," he corrects me. "Then juice a squill bulb, not squeeze!" He grins at me then proceeds to correct me.
As soon as we finish, Professor McGonagall walks in to James's chair right up against mine with his arm on the back of my chair.
"Hello, Professor!" I turn around to her looking from me to James. "He was just helping me with Potions."
"Yes okay, Miss Evans but I just want you two to organize the ball that is coming up." She puts a stack of paper on our table.
