Agent Olivia Dunham worked away tirelessly in her office. Searching through pages and pages or records, names or anything else that could give her an indication of where Peter Bishop had disappeared to.
It has been 3 months, count them, 90 days since she had seen him last and she hated it.
Sighing, Olivia took off her glasses and pinched the bridge of her nose. Her headaches were getting worse but she still spent most nights searching pubs and bars that she thought he would go to but no one had seen him.
A knocked at the lab door got Astrid's attention. She looked up to find a delivery man standing in the doorway, "Can I help you?"
The man looked nervous, "I was wondering if there was an Olivia Dunham here? I have a delivery for her."
"Yes, one moment." Astrid made her way to Olivia's office and knocked on the door. "Sorry Olivia but there is someone here to see you."
Olivia almost shot up at her words. How she wished that it would be Peter standing in the lab but was disappointed to find some guy.
"Miss Dunham?" Olivia could only nod.
"Could you sign here please?" He handed her a pad and she signed her life away. And with one quick nod of the head 4 other men walked in carrying boxes of roses.
"Here you are miss 89 red and yellow roses. And here is a note. He must be someone special to have done all this for you." The older of the four men smiled at Olivia and handed her the note.
Olivia couldn't take her eyes off the roses. They smelled so beautiful. Hesitating she opened the note.
Liv,
90 roses for each day I was away from you. .
90 roses to show you how much I care.
90 roses to prove that I love you
PB.
"Olivia, what does it say?" Walter's voice pulled her back to reality.
"90 roses? But the guy said…" Olivia was mumbling to herself as the lab door opened again. She vaguely heard Astrid drop the beaker she was holding and Walter gasp. Turning to face the door again she found one lovely looking man.
Dark hair, grey eyes, long peacoat the distinctly smelled of him.
"I knew they would bugger up the order so I have to bring you rose number 90." Peter's voice filled the lab and his smile become contagious.
Handing her the last rose, Olivia mouth dropped open. She didn't know what to do or say so she just threw her arms around his neck and kissed him with such passion, she didn't even know she had it in her.
"I love you too, Peter."
The End
