Violin Romance

The faint sounds of a violin trickled through the castle walls, awaking Ginny Weasley from her dreamless sleep. She raised an eyebrow. "No one in the right state mind would be up at this hour!" She muttered gloomily, still irritated about being woke so early. She flung back her comforter and gently set her feet on the floor. She walked to her trunk and grabbed the threadbare robe on top of it. She wrapped herself in it quickly. She was going to hex whomever it was who had woke her. She shivered slightly as she walked quietly down the steps. The morning was a cool October one. She walked through the common room, hoping to be relieved by the fire, only to be disappointed when she saw that the house elves had not re-lit it yet.
"Drats!" She muttered. She continued walking, making her way silently out of the portrait hole. She stood, not moving for a moment, trying to make out the faint sound again. She heard it off to her right, and started padding in that direction. She curiously gazed upon the walls, as she had never seen the portraits asleep before. Some of them were dressed in ridiculous nightgowns, and she tried to stifle a giggle as she hurried toward the music. Her ears carried her to an empty classroom near the Great Hall. She stood outside the partially open door, looking upon the firelight within. Her eyes moved rapidly as she saw the shadow dance on the walls. The music continued more rapidly now. It seemed to be in tune with the fire. She prepared herself to push open the door and startle the occupant of the room, that way she'd have a greater chance of intimidating them, even though she was a tiny 5'4. She pushed open the door, and to her surprise it made no sound. She was about to clear her throat loudly, but then she saw who it was in the room. She was sure her jaw hit the ground. Before her was a ruffled hair boy, playing his heart out on the violin.
