A/N: Pointless little oneshot that snapped into my head.

Smack!

Shippo watched as an angry Sango slapped Miroku across the face. After a muttered "Idiot," he rummaged around in his vest and began to take out items one at a time as he rode on Kagome's shoulder. His top, a colored stone, a scroll of illusions, and many more items besides came to his fingers, but not what he was looking for. Finally, his hand closed around a ratty piece of paper and a charcoal pencil.

"Eighty...eighty..." he muttered, narrowing his eyes at the paper. "Eighty-four!" he exclaimed triumphantly, scribbling something illegible on the paper.

"What?"

Shippo glanced up, startled, his hand automatically crunching the paper inside a fist. It was Inuyasha who had spoken. The kitsune relaxed his grip on the paper. "Eighty-four," he repeated.

"I know that," Inuyasha replied, irritated. "Eighty-four what?"

"Sango's hit Miroku eighty-four times."

"You keep track?" Disbelief etched Inuyasha's voice, as if he didn't believe that the kitsune could have that high of an attention span. Shippo bristled with indignation.

"Course I do. I keep track of lots of things," he added with pride.

Inuyasha raised on eyebrow at him. "Really."

"Really!"

A sigh. "What sort of things?"

"Let's see..." Shippo frowned at the paper. "Kilala's transformed ninety-seven times, and we've gotten lost five times." A hurried glance at Inuyasha's irritated face from this remark, and Shippo went back to his paper. "Kagome's purified twenty-three jewel shards... Miroku's used the wind tunnel eleven times... I've played one hundred and fourteen tricks on people..."

Shippo narrowed his eyes at the grimy paper. His handwriting was horrible. It was so pathetic that he had trouble reading it. "I've been hit on the head fifty-three times..."

Was that it? Huh. He thought it had been more than that. The kitsune turned the paper upside down. "Um... Kagome's told you to sit thirty-two times..."

"Shut up," Inuyasha snapped.
