The tall man looked at the scattered bodies around him and smiled.
"Highly efficient work. I'm impressed."
Silence.
"So you're the famous Noir."
The young girl only nodded. She put the gun back into her
pocket and walked towards him.
Seishirou chuckled, "You're not afraid of me, Noir?"
"Why should I?" she answered with her soft voice, "You're
only an assassin. The same as myself."
"True," he lit a cigarette, "Why are you alone? You have
a partner, don't you?"
She shrugged, keeping her silence. She gazed at him critically,
taking every detail of him and storing it in her sharp mind.
"So," the Sakurazukamori said in amusement, "What should
I do now? You've killed the target that I was supposed to eliminate
too. What should I report to my employer?"
Kirika smiled faintly, "Tell them that Noir has killed
him first, Sakurazukamori."
"And that's another thing. What are you doing back in
Japan, anyway? You've moved to Paris, right?"
"Noir would go anywhere in this world to kill a target
if necessary," she answered calmly.
"I'm glad you no longer reside here," Seishirou laughed
again, "I'd have to compete with you to get assignments if you
did."
"Ah, but you should not worry about that," Kirika turned
to look at him, "We both may have the same line of work, but
we're very different, aren't we?"
He smiled, "How true. We're both very skilled in what
we do. But the skills that we have are different."
"And you're luckier than me," she said with a little sigh.
A silence fell upon them again. Seishirou dropped the butt of his
cigarette and crushed it carelessly.
"You mean, because you have no memory of who you are?"
he asked mildly.
"So you know."
"Perhaps I'm the only one who knows that. Apart from
you and your partner... and your enemy."
"Perhaps."
"But I can't agree with you. You mean, I'm luckier than
you because I know perfectly who I am, was and would ever be?"
"Yes."
"You're too cute. I wonder what Subaru-kun would think
should he ever meet you."
She walked towards the door. He continued looking at her.
"The head of the Sumeragi clan."
"You know about him too? My, Noir really has done her
research."
"Of course, we're professionals."
"Really?" he chuckled again, "I consider Noir is only
one person. You. Your partner isn't Noir."
"As the Sakurazukamori is only one person," she opened the
door, "Maybe we're more alike than we thought."
"Maybe we are," he bowed down to her, "I hope you'd get
your memory back, Noir."
"I hope so too."
"And pray we would never cross each other's paths anymore."
"We wouldn't. Be happy with the Sumeragi, Sakurazukamori."
With that final statement, the young girl closed the door behind
her.
Seishirou laughed, "Farewell, Noir."
Outside the room, she bowed her head.
"Yes, we are definitely more alike than we thought."

Notes:
This was inspired by a thought, "What if Seishirou ever meets
Kirika?" A highly efficient assassin meets an equally efficient
assassin. And I LOVE Kirika. Such a cool girl! ^____^
