BANG

The sound of a body, slamming through the hard cement of a brick wall.

GASP

The sound that came out of said body as they hit the wall.

LAUGHTER

The sound resonating throughout the room, as said person watched the other suffer from blood pouring from their wounds.

Pushing herself out of, Payton grunted. Turning for just a split second she glanced at the damage done to the wall. Clearly, the force used to throw her into the wall was powerful enough to leave a large gaping hole in the center of the wall. Shaking off the pain, Payton forced herself to stand. Glaring at the other woman laughing hysterically in front of her, she couldn't help but wonder how things had gotten to the way they were. Of course, she knew the answer but she still couldn't stop wondering. Looking around the destroyed, disgusting room, The injured female stares at all the dismembered and mutilated bodies surrounding the room, one in particular, causing her a great amount of grief.

Rubbing over her wrists, Payton grimaces as her hands glide over the shackles attached to her wrist, each wrist seeping blood from being rubbed raw, and given blisters due to how tight the shackles were, as well as for the long time period she had been wearing them form.

"What are you waiting for, fight me!" The woman who had once been laughing now had a look of absolute insanity on her face.

Payton looked up at the woman, not so much as moving an inch. What was the point, if the fight were to continue she would surely die, in fact, there was no point at all. Payton just wanted to be put out of her misery. Out of all the things she has been forced to endure over the years, this was the breaking point.

Looking the woman straight in the eyes, Payton's eyes sadden. The woman before her, Kiara, had once been her best friend, as well as her sister, but now as Payton looked at the woman in front of her she no longer saw the same Kiara she had once spent so many years with, so many memories with. Now the only thing standing in front of Payton was a monster.

"I will not, I no longer have anything to fight for."

Payton's face clears, becoming expressionless. She would not show this woman how she affected her, How she destroyed her. No. Payton would no longer give Kiara the satisfaction of seeing her suffer. As much as Payton wanted her suffering to end, her life to end, she certainly wouldn't let her child's killer be the one to break her, to kill her, mutilate her just as she did with the other. If Payton was going to die, she was going to die by her own hand, and of course peacefully.

Kiara's eyebrow twitches. Payton had no choice, she would fight her whether she wanted to or not. Kiara had a plan, and she wanst going to let Payton ruin it. As soon as Kiara first laid eyes on the younger girl, she knew Payton was different. Payton's aura was a mixture of darkness and confusion. Kiara had been able to sense how strong the confused little girl had been and wanted to harness the power for her self. That had been the start of her plan, and now as she stood in front of the older version of the broken little girl she had once met, she still that same broken little girl, the only difference was now that little girl had grown into an adult, and the darkness inside of her had grown.

Payton knew she had to escape. She knew that she had to get away from the psychopath in front of her. Luckily she knew just how to do it, she simply hoped she had enough magic within her to complete her plan.

Standing up straight she watches as yellow lightning crackles around her. Payton watches as Kiara smirks, thinking Payton had changed her mind and decided to actually fight her. Smirking herself, Payton watches the lighting surrounding her becomes more erratic, closing her eyes she thinks of the one place she used to call home, as well as her only hope for escaping the murderer in front of her. Peeking her eye open for a moment she watches as it finally dawns on Kiara, Payton was not going to fight her, she was fleeing. "NO!"

Payton smiles widely as Kiara is removed from her vision, the angry look on her face satisfying Payton. It felt exhilarating to once again be traveling by lighting, it had been such a long time since she had last done so. At one point Payton had thought she would never get to experience it again, but as she traveled farther and farther away from Kiara hope slowly filled her heart. Maybe she did have a chance at living after all.

After a bit of traveling, Payton is disoriented. Having been such a long time since shes traveled or used magic, shes completely drained. Slowly losing the rest of her magic, and her consciousness Payton is no longer able to keep track of the speed that's traveling, nor is she able to stick the landing, when she finally gets to her destination.

Slamming onto a surface once more Payton is hardly about to see her surrounding, but as her wounds, pain, and exhaustion finally catch up to her, she is able to recognize the large emblem on the wall in front her. With her eyes drooping she smiles at what she managed to see. Lossing consciousness she has one final thought. 'I'm home...I made it to Fairy Tail.'
