AN: This poem is a personal favorite of mine. Hope you like it!
The Shooting
First she aimed and then she fired,
Watching as his life expired,
As she stands frozen unsure what to do,
You start to think that it should have been you,
If you had been just a little bit faster,
You might have spared her this disaster,
You see her as she starts to shake,
You think there must be some mistake,
You've never saw her quite like this,
Slowly your hands turn into fists,
You want the one responsible to pay,
Maybe tomorrow but not today,
Because right now she needs you there,
To help her with this new despair.
