LIMBO

I wish that life was as easy as telling lies

I wish everyone could retain their old ties

I wish that words-pain sorrow and hurt- did not exist

I wish that we could even see in the mist

I wish that their would be no strain

No trouble, no ache to the brain

I wish I knew my destiny or fate

That these are meaningless tensions of late

I wish I could read people's face

That everybody walked at the same pace

I wish that the cloth would never ruffle

I wish that there was no reason for the voice to muffle

I wish that there were no restrictions

No right or wrong, no need to make decisions

I wish that time would cease for a while

That temptations would fray not turn agile

I wish that there would be no divisions

Everyone the same at the same positions

I wish that there was no top or bottom

Just level land even in the autumn

I wish that tenderness

Would never be the cause of distress

In times when I had often felt

That there was no need for a belt

I wish that there was no diversity

Everyone was equal at the university

I wish that gold was not so expensive

And the knowledge was not as extensive

I wish that there was no darkness

That nobody was afraid of Loch Ness

I wish that we had nothing to fear

There was no requirement of a tear

I wish that burden was light

The light gave everybody full sight

I wish that we had no dreams

That the flow never swayed in the streams

Wishing is all I have in my pocket

As I can't fix the wires of the socket

No electricity, no color

Nobody would be new to concur
