"Wow! Dad, look! I finally got enough points for the peace pipe!"
Chris sat back and admired his son's outfit. "That's everything they've got then. You're a real Indian now!"
"Yeah," Vin exclaimed, grinning enormously.
"And I'm a real Sheriff," JD said, proudly showing off his new tin star, "so we can play cowboys and Indians for real now!" He took off running from Vin who whooped, hollered, and chased his brother right outside of the library doors.
"We really owe Ez for this one." Buck's grin matched his son's.
Chris nodded, still amazed at how far their children's reading had progressed.
