Josiah stood at the door of his church, shaking the chilled hands of his parishioners. He stepped out with a grin on his face after saying goodbye to the last one.

"What's so funny?" Vin asked from where he awaited him at the foot of the steps.

"I just love it when my sermons are affective." Josiah's eyes twinkled. It was all he could do to keep from laughing aloud at the memory of the raised hair on the neck of the last woman's hand.

Vin grinned. He'd noticed the churchgoers' fear too. "Your Hell and brimstone sermons always are."
