Halloween at Fletcher Academy was by far the best time of the year. From five p.m. to midnight you could do whatever you wanted in the Spectar's Wing of the school. Most of the girls would invite tons of boys from neighboring schools. The boys would bring they're "goodies" containing any type of drug or liquor that you could name.

It was a tradition, it was established in the 70's when the power of drugs and sex was a lot more powerful than the authority of the headmistress. It's safe to say it's Casey Macdonald's favorite holiday. Especially now that she had to hide herself away from the Venturi clan.

She'd wear her feminist garments, telling them she'll be careful. In the Greeting Hall the girls, who were already decorated in their traditional masks, wigs, and costumes. Gave Casey her mask. A golden cat eyed mask. Beautiful, she thought to herself. It was essential to cover your identity, not only did it save you if you were caught by a teacher outside the area, but whatever you did wouldn't ruin your reputation the next day.

Casey was always a hit at the party, and the girls weren't going to give up they're ice-breaker for the world. She would get on stage, wearing bagging unimaginative clothing. Then the music she would be singing would start to blare, and she would cast her cloak aside. Revealing a satin lined corset, with matching garters. The boys loved it, and it was that moment that the girls inhibitions would die away. Showing more skin than they ever had before.

Casey would take a hit of Ecstasy and consume a good amount of cherry vodka. It let her lose herself, and she would sway to the music. People would make love in front of you, and they would allow each other to join in. She would find herself with six different people that night. Girl or Guy. It didn't matter, during the music just a swinging they weren't individuals anymore they were only one entity.

Halloween wasn't about the candy or dressing up, it was trying to commit as many sins as you could before midnight. When everything would be erased from that night, and return to it's regular normancy before dawn. The teachers would look away from their antics, and the campus security would help keep their parents away.

Yep, Halloween was by far the best time of year for Casey Macdonald. No longer a Grub, or Klutzilla. But the Queen of the Damned until midnight would strike when the last song would play and everyone had to turn in their masks.

She would go home still buzzed from the party. Go up to bed, snuggling under the covers, and want to cry. For it would take another 364 days before Halloween would be back again.
