There was blood everywhere.
Buildings destroyed here and there.
I saw Maker standing nearby, clutching at the gash on her stomach.
I stood up, ignoring the slight pain from my current twisted ankle.
I heard a sound nearby.
I looked to Maker to see if she knows whether or not it's Galaxia.
She seemed to be stuck in a daze.
I frowned, listening more closely to pick out that it was Sailor Moon's voice.
Maker broke into a run towards Sailor Moon's direction. I followed after her as Sailor Moon continued to scream and plead to someone.
Where's Fighter? I wondered.
Maker and I leaped down from where we were and landed in the middle of the rubble at Sailor Moon's side as she cradled something in her arms.
"Please, please, please don't leave me. You shouldn't have done that, " sobbed out a distraught Sailor Moon, rocking back and forth.
My eyes widened, along with Maker's as we caught a glimpse of indigo hair and dulled midnight blue eyes. Then I clenched my eyes, turning away before anyone could see any of my tears.
"Ssh. Don't cry. Tears don't suit a pretty girl like you, " whispered Fighter, weakly brushing away Sailor Moon's tears.
"But… but-."
Fighter smiled at her, shaking her head as she grasped onto Sailor Moon's hand. "But nothing. You were worth it. I love your shine. It'd be horrible to see it go out."
"But you shouldn't have. I don't want you to die. Your princess needs you. Healer and Maker need you. Kinmoku needs you. I need you, " protested Sailor Moon, whispering the last part more to herself than Fighter.
Fighter shook her head, squeezing Sailor Moon's hand. "No they don't. They'll be just as good as they are now, even with me dead."
I glared down at Fighter, trying not to strangle her to death and shouted, "You fucking idiot! We don't fucking need you! Damn you for thinking otherwise! Without you we wouldn't have found our princess! What do you think will happen to us after you die? Huh? Surely you don't want us to… to…" Then I broke down into sobs, leaning against Maker as she hugged me.
"Healer…"
"No! Just shut up! You're not going to fucking die!" I screamed, watching as a trickle of blood flowed down the corner of her mouth.
Fighter said, "But I am. So take care of each other for me. And, Odango…"
Sailor Moon lifted her head up, tears glimmering within her eyes. "Yes?"
"I'm sorry that we weren't able to be together. I guess that it really wasn't meant to be. An unrequited love, " replied Fighter, laughing humorlessly as she cupped Sailor Moon's cheek and wiped away a couple of her tears.
Sailor Moon said, "But you can't-."
Fighter smiled at Sailor Moon, caressing her cheek. "I can and I will. I'm leaving you my love and hope. I love you and I always will. I hope that you'll be able to have a normal life after this."
"But… but… " sobbed out Sailor Moon, squeezing Fighter's hand even tighter.
"I love you…" whispered Fighter, her eyes closing for the final time and her hand dropping from Sailor Moon's face.
Sailor Moon lets out a wail as Maker looked away and I sobbed into Maker's chest once Fighter's body turned into pale blue lights within Sailor Moon's arms and disappeared despite Sailor Moon's attempts in trying to grasp them.
And that was the day the Sailor Starlights died.
The Three Lights died.
Our best friend and leader died.
And most of all the day she died.
