Who doesn't like weird fanfiction! This one is really graphic later on, though, so read cautiously.
Vinyl Scratch was so excited! She got a backstage pass for her old friend Octavia's concert! It was very costly, but she knew that it was worth it. She hadn't heard Octavia's music since when…
No! This was a happy time, she thought, she wouldn't remember any bad memories. But no matter what she tried, the memories kept coming.
Walking through Canterlot just kept memories flooding in. The pizzeria, which was the first place she had ever performed. The wedding hall, where she performed at Cadence and Shining Armor's wedding with Pinkie Pie as her assistant. The auditorium, where her and Octavia first met...
Vinyl reached the stadium, which helped the memories slow down, almost stopping completely. She had to wait in line, but that wasn't what really bugged her. when she saw the people in line, she had to cringe. Some of the other ponies in line were wearing merchandise with the band members faces on them. For Vinyl, seeing tons of shirts with Octavia's face on them was the worst thing that happened to her. Almost.
When Vinyl reached the front of the line, the bouncer looked at a paper in his hand. He looked back at her, then gave her evil eyes, as if wanting to stab her in the face.
"Sorry, ma'am," the bouncer said, anger present in his voice, "I am required to keep you out of this stadium, request of Octavia. Follow me."
"Excuse me, but I paid lots of bits for these tickets," Vinyl said, raising her voice a bit. "I'm not going to let them go to waste!"
"Sorry miss," the stallion said, "I just follow orders. Follow me."
Vinyl knew Octavia might have done something like that, but she wasn't prepared for what had happened next. She was taken by the bouncer through the back entrance. When he opened the door, it reeked of mold and the smell of a sewer system, which might have been what the hall was, since it was so dark.
"Where are you taking me?!" Vinyl yelled when he led her down a hallway getting darker and darker the farther they went. She wasn't surprised, though, when he never gave her an answer.
It would have been nice for Vinyl to have at least a little more information than none, but she knew that the bouncer wouldn't give her any. He was just trying to get his job done, and she could at least respect that. But she knew he was just leading her to something awful.
It only took brief minutes for them to reach the end of the hall. It was so dark there, though, that Vinyl had to squint just to see her hoof in front of her, but she still couldn't see whatever was in front of her. The guard seemed to notice this, so he used a light spell, which lit up the end of the hall. What lay in front of her made her stop in her tracks.
What was sitting in front of her was a large rusted cage. The cage had no bars, but instead just sheets of metal, the door having a small opening for seeing whoever talks to the person in the cage. The whole structure smelled like spoiled milk.
"Alright," The bouncer boomed, not afraid to be taken as scary anymore, but still showing some restraint. "Get in."
As he said this, he pushed open the door, of which even took him effort to open. Vinyl took this opportunity to break for the exit, which was foiled by the stallion. All he had to do was use his magic, and he pulled her back towards the cage by her mane.
"I'm not here to be kind!" He yelled at Vinyl, "I'm here to honor Octavia's wishes!"
"You could at least act a little nicer!" Vinyl velled. The expression that the bouncer gave her showed that he was done being as nice as he was, and he only got angrier.
The stallion threw her into the little room with such force that she fell over and just layed there. He then slammed the door right in her face, and started to walk away, trying to go back to his normal job. Why would Octavia wish for this?
