Once upon a time, a girl was loved.
Summer used to play with her. Summer never ever lets her fall from her embrace, even during her sleep.
Always together.
Forever, and ever, and ever.
Or, so the Doll thought.
One day, a girl wasn't needed anymore.
Summer, now overwhelmed with Huntress duties, no longer play with her and preferred her liars for friends in reality instead.
"Summer? Are you insane?"
"Please don't tell me you never knew who she really is!"
"H-hang on guys, I-I-I'm calling Headmaster Ozpin now!"
"Wah lao, she not human lah chee bye!"
The words of her friends echoing in her mind over and over, the Doll's eyes darkened as powerful Hunters dragged her away from her beloved Summer, then thrown away, lying, wasting away in a dark, cold prison in the Forgotten Continent (northwest on the Remnant map); far far away from prying eyes.
Years past, and a girl lay still, forgotten.
The Doll couldn't even recall the name her mistress gave her anymore, only snippets of warm, faint memories. So faint, the doll wondered if those memories ever even happened. But, one day, the Doll was taken out of her broken prison.
An older girl, with the same hair and eyes as her forgotten mistress mumbled something about Surpassing (the Grimm?) and Suppressing (the White Fang?) as she dragged her outside. Under the bright moonlight revealed a long, wavy, dark hair like midnight and clear, ember eyes reflecting a golden glimmer.
"Roman, don't screw up anymore things, please?"
Before the Doll knew it, she was taken away by that girl and her taller companion to a different, unknown place.
A girl knew too well that after a while, she'll be forgotten again, because she won't be needed.
Because her new friend, Roman Torchwick, taught her that some things don't last forever; because she's just a beautiful, but a silly, silly Doll that won't and couldn't amount to anything.
But the Doll couldn't care less.
Even if it's not forever, even if she'll be used and dumped and hurt over and over again, even if after she'll be left in the cold, all forgotten and unwanted and not needed…
Everything's going to be okay, because now, she was loved again.
And that's all that counted to silly little Neo.
