Kisses are very telling gestures, reflecting the parties involved. Masato has never really been a big fan of them, only reserving occasional ones for his little sister, but with Jinguji as his partner, they are hard to avoid.
Every day begins with a kiss on the cheek, a murmur of good morning in his ear. The first morning after they moved into their current shared apartment, Masato almost jumped out of his skin. Back in their dormitory days, Jinguji hadn't been so...touchy-feely – at least, less so, and less disturbing to his daily life. It takes him almost two months to get used to it, waking up next to someone and being pampered.
When Ren leaves for work, or comes back, he can also expect kisses to his cheeks, sometimes once, sometimes on both, depending on how his day goes. On a good day, he may even receive flowers and chocolates (which he gets increasingly nervous about; it's not a secret that Jinguji is good-looking). On a bad day, it's usually Masato's turn to cheer him up. At first he was rather reluctant to do so—the only ones he kissed, up to that point in time, were family members—and he was still so embarrassed about it. Even handholding makes his face burn (less so, now).
Then there are those times when Ren gets into the mood, romantic and even more touchy-feely than usual. A person reassured by delivering touches, Masato doubts there are any places left unmarked by Ren. He starts slow, soft and petal-light, fluttering from his lips down his neck, tracing collarbones and shoulderblades, only turning playful when he bites on his nipples, grazing his sides and navel.
Ren seems to have a never-ending fascination with his mouth, and he likes kissing more than sex. Why are you closing me off again, Ren complains for the umpteenth time as he patiently works his way inside with his tongue. It's not like he can just say he finds tongues in general kind of gross and effectively kill the mood – no, he has more tact than that, and maybe he'll only tell Ren some other time.
And of course, the kiss on his forehead before they snuggle under the covers, a sentiment which Masato can only reciprocate in words only when Ren is asleep.
