A/N: I suggest listening to "Hello" by Evanescence while reading this. I only own Sunlit! This takes place when Sunlit was only 7 years old.

A single tear strolled down her face, but it wasn't easy to notice because it was raining. She pressed her back up farther against the tree, trying to take shelter, but it wasn't working.
Sunlit's eyes fluttered open as she looked up to the sky.
"Help…" she whispered to the sky. She got sudden flashbacks.
(Flashback one)
Sunlit and her twin brother, Blaze, were chasing each other, laughing, having fun. During the flashback, it felt like Blaze was really there, walking, running, talking, laughing, smiling. "B-Blaze…." Sunlit whispers, holding her head.
(Flashback 2)
Sunlit was doing a puzzle with her mom, Jade.
"Sunny, you always separate the edges, which are these pieces right here, away from the middle ones, which are these." Jade said, splitting the pieces of the puzzle into edges and middles.
"Mommy, is this a edge?" A five year old Sunlit said, holding up a piece.
"Yes, Sunny, yes it is. Put it in this pile here." Her mom points to the edge pile, and Sunlit puts it is the pile happily. "Mom…" Sunlit hold her head harder and squeezes her eyes tighter.
(Flashback 3)
A three year old Sunlit and Blaze sit by their father, Burn, who was playing a video game.
"Daddy! A zombie, dere! (She is only 3!)" Sunlit yelled, making her father's character turn around quickly and shoot the zombie.
"Yah! You got it" Sunlit yelled, hugging him. "DADDY!" Sunlit yelled, balling her fists up, squeezing her eyes as tight as they would go, while crying as hard as she could.
(? P.O.V)
I yanked my head in the direction I heard the scream in. I ran as fast as I could, not caring how much my parents kept calling my name. That's when I found her. A girl, about 8 years old, crying, against a tree, fists balled up.
(No one's P.O.V)
Sunlit peeked her eye open, seeing the boy, about 9.
"W-Who are you?" She whimpered, moving her wet hair out of her eyes, scooting backwards. He took a step closer, trying not to scare the younger girl.
"I'm Demy. You?" He asked.
"I-I'm…. Sunlit." Sunlit said, crawling forward a little.
"What are you doing out here? Don't your parents miss you?" Demy asked. Sunlit cringed.
"T-They're…. dead….." She whispered.
"Oh….. Sorry." Demy said, looking down. "Hey! Why don't you come live with me and my parents?!" He said looking up.
"Are you s-sure?" Sunlit asked and Demy nodded. "O-okay…." She stood up and weakly followed Demy.
(10 years later)
Sunlit (18 years old) lived at The Castle That Never Was, with Demy, who was now known as Demyx (19). Sunlit walked into the kitchen, where Demyx was eating a snack. Sunlit grabbed a pack of Zebra Cakes (ROCK ON, BABAH!) and sat down in front of Demyx.
"Hey, Dem."
"Sup, Sunny?"
"Nothing." Sunlit said as she kissed Demyx' cheek. "I'm so lucky that you found me in that forest." She said, getting up and looking out the window.
"Yes, yes WE are." Demyx replied back.
