The Great Maze Chall/Comp: Your Point me spell has taken you to Oliver, who smiles and says he'll continue with you through the maze. You see Draco walking up ahead with some friends. He has a bunch of other friends who aren't Crabbe and Goyle. He doesn't always have to hang with them.

The As Many As You Want Competition: Prompts Used – Mountain, Vampire, Durmstrang, cup, "Run! Get out of here!", Butter

Draco sighed as he read over his letter. His father was running scared, already disillusioned about the Dark Lord. He was thinking about sending Draco to Durmstrang for safety, so the Malfoy heir could hide among the mountains, something Draco didn't want.

He looked up at a loud guffaw and saw Oliver Wood walking into the Great Hall. Everyone was surprised when the old Gryffindor keeper came back to school to teach flying instead of going for professional Quidditch, but with Hooch killed, they had needed someone and Oliver stepped in, hoping to help protect the students if it should come to it.

He felt someone sit down next to him and smiled at Blaise. "Hey."

Blaise nodded, and then Theo, who sad down across from then, nodded too.

"Letter from your father?" Theo asked.

Draco nodded, wondering if you should confide in them. They were both neutral though so he knew it was safe. He looked around the table and saw the three of them were the only Slytherins present. "My father is scared, worried about my safety. He wants to send me out of England for my protection."

"Do you want that?" Blaise asked.

"Well, if I was you, I'd run. Get out of here. You don't have neutrality to protect you and if he finds out your father is seconding guessing him, you're whole family will be in danger." Theo lifted his cup to take a drink of his pumpkin juice, and then smeared butter all over his toast.

Draco's eyes narrowed. "I might not be a Gryffindor, but I'm not a coward either and I won't run away like one."

Theo shrugged. "Up to you, but your father doesn't have such a bad idea if you ask me."

"I kind of agree with Theo." When Draco glared at him, Blaise held up his hands in surrender. "Don't look at me like that. I want all of my friends to be safe, and Durmstrang might be the place to make it happen until this war is over, hopefully with Potter as the victor."

Draco chuckled. "I never thought I'd be rooting for Potter to win. Times sure have changed."

Blaise looked around and leaned in, whispering, "This war is going to get worse before it gets better. I heard he has vampires on his side."

"Not surprised," Draco mumbled. He raised his voice slightly and said, "After all, he has werewolves and giants. Why shouldn't he have vampires, too?"

The three of them nodded and glanced at their food. Blaise scrunched his nose. "Not hungry anymore. Want to get out of here?"

Draco and Theo glanced at each other and then gave a curt nod. All of them lost their appetite due to the fear that could be felt in the air surrounding the Slytherin table. They wanted the war to end, and the sooner the better.

Draco and Theo simultaneously stood up and Blaise followed their lead. They left the Great Hall to go find something to distract them from their morose thoughts.
