A series of unrelated oneshots of unrelated stories. All of them are true stories of combinations of a few stories to make a less sad story.

Percy was walking home from school, his bag slung over his shoulder. A car passed him and stopped behind him. He thought nothing of it as he turned the corner.
Percy heard small footsteps behind him, again thought nothing of it.
Big mistake.
"Turn around." The voice a little girl commanded him.
He spun on his heels, to see a little girl who could have been no more than twelve years old pointing a pistol in his face.
"Pockets." She commanded. Percy knew he had no other choice. The firing pin was up but he wasn't taking any chances. She pull the trigger and no one would to much as look out the window. Not in this neighborhood.
He pulled his phone out of his back pocket, a couple of twenties, and trash out of his pockets. He tossed her his backpack to look through. It didn't have anything other than his homework in it.
"I want your chain." She ordered. He raised his arms to unhook it -
"Pop it off."
He moved his hands to the center of the links, he moved his hand up so that the chain was slack against his chest. He looked up at the street hopefully as the light changed.
Nothing.
Wait.
A desperate idea poped into his head.
He widened his eyes.
"The cops!" Percy said pointing at the oncoming traffic.
The little girl instinctively turned.
And Percy decked her.
She hit the ground. The gun clattering to the ground.
Percy grabbed the gun, ejected the mag and racked the slide, picked up his stuff and sprinted home.

An unfortunatly true story.
Happened to a friend of mine.
I have more stories if you want to read them. This one has arguably the happiest ending.
