Sex as a human was very different. No clash of power, no fights for dominance. They both knew their place, both knew where they belonged, Castiel wasn't strong enough anymore. He knew that, and he backed off and let Meg show him how to pl;ease her again.
When the light started filtering in through through the bunker, Castiel felt himself get torn away from deep, restful sleep. He didn't know he'd ever find sleep as wonderful as he did, welcoming the rest and soft dreams that accompanied it, and even the slender body he had tucked under his arm.
Meg was asleep, surprisingly, and probably just to pass the time until Castiel awoke. He loved the way her blonde hair was splayed over her body, her head resting on his other arm as they slept.
He fought the urge to twitch his fingers, the numbness almost painful as he rolled and overlapped her a bit. It was an odd postilion, but he adjusted himself so that she rested still on his forearm, and with gentle fingers he ran over the sharp juts of her spin, feeling her stolen body and brushing his nose just against the side of her face.
Maybe it was because he couldn't see her anymore but with the occasional flashes of her true self under her skin, that he'd been so concerned with touching her. He felt her dark power course under her, just enough to remind him of what she was.
It was something he was glad he could feel; a reminder that he was once something bigger but it kept him from dwelling on his current state.
He ran a hand over her her face, brushing hair from it when she stirred, his arm instantly moving from her face.
"Good morning..." he muttered, watching her pull out from under him to roll on her back.
"Shit, didn't know I fell asleep."
"It's was...rather intense."
"Yeah. What did you do, Google that thing you did last night?"
"Of course not."
"Sure. It's not often you get the upper hand like that," she muttered. She was beautiful when she was tired. "So..."
"So?"
"You gonna keep staring or we gonna do something?"
He swallowed, still feeling the aches of the night before and unsure if she was completely whole herself. "I-."
"Hurry up. It's still early. Plus Dean and Sam are out, and I hear that they have excellent water pressure."
"You...You're staying, then?"
"You are so lucky you're pretty, Clarence," she muttered, pecking him on the nose before sliding out of bed, apparently not noticing the way he staired at her from behind. "Well?"
"Coming."
