Disclaimer: I AM NOT VERONICA ROTH(though I would love to be).
*Flashback*
"I'm really going to miss you Toby!" A little girl, around the age of seven says, hugging a boy around the age of nine.
"I promise I'll write to you Bea!" the boy, Toby, says to her. The two break apart,
"And I'll always write back," the girl, Bea, tells him as his father drags him to the car.

*Seven Years Later*
Tris PoV
On my first day of high school I wake up to both my annoying alarm clock and my text alert.
Tobias: Hey Bea! Ready for your first day of HS?
Beatrice: Hey! You bet! Are you ready to start at your new school?
T: Definitely. My dad says no more moving, so maybe I can keep some new friends for more than a year.
B: Lol, yeah. The only person I know at my school is a girl from my summer cheer camp.
T: Good Luck! :-)
B: You too ;)
After I finish texting him, I get up, put on some jeans and a t-shirt from one of my many cheer competitions. I throw my hair into a high pony before putting on a bit of makeup.
"Hey mom!" I say as I grab a muffin. She looks up from her coffee.
"Morning Beatrice. You have cheer tryouts after school today," my mom reminds me,"It ends 30 minutes before Caleb's math thing, so he will drive you home afterwards." I smile at my mom thanking her, then grab my cheer bag and backpack. I yell a good bye, and head to my bus stop.
"I didn't know you were at this bus stop Tris!" Christina squeals when she see me.
"Tris?" I ask.
"You totally needed a nickname, I mean, my boyfriend sometimes calls me Tina, but most people call me Chris. OMG! Our nicknames rhyme!" Chris exclaims.
"That makes sense," I reply as we get on the bus.
At the next stop I briefly catch the eyes of a male. His eyes are deep ocean blue, not unlike the ones I see when I FaceTime Tobias. He is sitting behind us, and I hear him introduce himself to the boy next to him as Four.
