A/N: This is a homework assignment. We learned about Renga poems in my humanities class and our homework was to teach others about it and write a poem with them. This is what we came up with.

She loved him so much
She tortures herself for him
She had died for him
Was rich when she was little
Was poor when she was older
Pretty little thing
And then she had become a
Rose in misery
She was daddy's little girl
Her mother loved her so much
Though she had loved him
People say she belongs with
Monsieur Enjolras
He will keep her safe now
He will keep her close now
Rain can't hurt her now
Now that she is gone away
She died in his arms
Now that she is on her own
And without him beside her
She died in the rain
And she had died in his arms
And she died happy
She had loved her Marius
But he had loved his Cosette
She disguised herself
She died at the barricade
She protected him
She never got to grow up
She never got to marry
Sacrificed herself
So he could end up happy
With his dear Cosette
She had remembered her
Now look what's become of her
She had died so young
In a group that had become
Almost historic
Was treated very badly
But she still knew how to love
She lived a dark life
Hugo described her as a
Rose in misery
Sister of 'Zelma and 'Vroche
Left her sister forever
She had fought for love
She had died and fought for him
She had died for love
Sacrificed her happiness
He could be happy with her
Did what she had to
Not what she had wanted to
Help her family
He knows so little
He cares so little
She stole from the rich
Her parents made her do it
To feed her family
She was adored as a child
And treated like dirt when grown
Cosette had changed much
Into a beautiful girl
She couldn't compete
She had liked the way he talked
He liked the way she teased
She couldn't compare
To the girl who was a lark
Who had been a maid
He had never saw her there
He had left her on her own
Mistreated Cosette
Had now become beautiful
And had made him fall
She loved him so very much
But he did not return it
But he did not know
How much he was hurting her
He made her find her
There are lots of things she knows
And she knows her way around
