Fayre Eternity walked up the cold, dead stairs leading to Bevelle yet again. It seems she had climbed these stairs far too many times. She vaguely recalled the first time. Rain was falling from the ashen sky. The man who had saved her from the fiends of Macalania woods was supposed to be here, so up she went. All the way up men and women alike stopped to gaze at this frail creature. With hardly any meat left on her body, she was a simply an animated, boney heap. Despite all that she still had a beautiful look about her. Blazing white hair fell across her back as she trudged steadily up the steps. Her clothes clung to her skin, revealing each rib and bone beneath. All the weapons weighed her down, but she continued like it was nothing. Upon reaching the great doors of Bevelle temple, she showed her true might. After malnutrition and little rest she was still able to swing the doors open wide.

After asking around, she found him, Auron, the man that saved her life. She was sure she would have been able to fend for herself, but he helped her adjust tothis new world of death. He had helped her decide what to do, even recommended her to her new boss. He was the reason she was beginning to regain herself, even if she still did not know just who that was.

He stood before her, just as handsome as when she first saw him. I wonder what he thought of me. Trash on the side of the road, no doubt. Still, he had been kind enough to save her, feed her, bring her to this town. Auron was a good person.

Fayre sighed at that memory. She had seemed so meek then. Now that she was restored to full health, she seemed much more herself: dangerous, desirable, with her devil-may-care attitude, most importantly, independent and free. She waltzed up those steps and, once again, threw the doors open wide.

Stepping inside, Fayre almost immediately found Auron. He was standing before Grand Maester Mica, front and center, most likely taking orders for another mission. Auron could do just about anything, so Mica called upon him often. The only thing he can't do is get that stick out of his butt. Fayre smirked at the thought.

Fayre rested against a statue of some great something-or-other. After Auron was finished speaking with the Maester, Fayre greeted him. "Hey, I finished that weapon you asked for. You're lucky I love you, otherwise you'd be payin' through the nose for this work of art." She handed him the sword she had been working on for over a month, the Heaven's Cloud. "It took me a while to find all the parts to make it. It works real good, though. I had fun testing it."

Auron examined the blade for a moment. "Yes, this is high quality. Your best work yet. How much do I owe you?" he asked. Fayre simply laughed.

"You can pay me with a drink at that pub on Firran street. Just... don't bring Kinoc. I'd like my butt to have some freedom from his wandering hand for just one night." Even Auron laughed at this, something not often seen.

Auron sighed, "Well, I will try my best. Kinoc never lets me go off alone when he thinks a woman is involved. Will we meet at six, then?" Fayre grinned and nodded. He got his fancy sword, and she got a free drink with a handsome fellow. Only Kinoc lost on this one, which made Fayre all the more excited.
