Nypmhadora Tonks stood in the middle of the study and Number Twelve Grimmauld Place. Everything was destroyed. The death eaters had found out the headquarters and ransacked the place to find any clue of Harry Potter's wherabouts. She stared in shock and the damage they had caused. Family paintings were ripped, statues turned over and shattered. walking over to the desk, she pulled it open with the key Harry had given her. She was only to open it incase of something like this had ever happened. It was empty except for a single piece of paper and silver locket. Tonks looked confused as she picked up the locket. On the back was engraved To the only woman I've ever loved. She smiled and opened it expecting to find pictures of Ginny and Harry, but instead found a picture of herself and Harry. She was shocked, and dropped the locket on the desk. She raeched in and pulled out the paper. It was a letter from Harry addressed to her.

My Dearest Tonks,

If you are reading this then I'm gone. I've gone into hiding to save you all. I must fight him alone. I can't risk the lives of my friends and especially you, my love. I know you are shocked at this but I've loved you from the moment I first met you. You were in my dreams and I could think of nothing more than someday making you mine. But I never thought you would ever give me the time of day. You are much older than I am and too good for me. Oh my beautiful Nymph, you are the only person I have ever truly loved. Ginny and Cho they were nothing compared to the way I feel about you. Please don't try to find me. I need you to be safe. If something would ever happened to you, I would never forgive myself. I love you my sweet Nymphadora. The locket is special. Whenever you touch it I will know you are thinking of me, for I have a matching one. The same goes if I were to touch mine. It will become warm and you will know you are in my thoughts. Please wear it but keep it hidden. And remember, I love you and only you, Nymphadora.

Love Always,

Yours forever Harry.

By the time she was finished she was in tears. She read the letter over again to make sure what she read wasn't in her mind. She then brought the letter close to her chest and cried. "Oh, Harry, why couldn't you tell me how you felt? You would have known that I felt the same way." she whisped to herself. She once again picked up the locket, it was no longer cool as it was before but now warm. She remembered what the letter had said. He was thinking of her. She fell to the floor in a mess, and sobbed. He was gone and she would never get to tell him how she felt. She gently rubbed across the engravement on the back with her thumb. "I love you too." she whispered.

Harry Potter sat alone in a small house beside the ocean. He had escaped his world of magic in hopes of saving his friend and her. He had a hunch that he was near. She should be getting my letter soon. Suddenly the small locket in his hands became warm. He smiled warmly and brough it to his lips kissing it. "She's thinking of me." he said. "Someday I will come back to you my love, someday." he whispered, placing the locket in his pocket.
