Why Hermione Hates Flying
Disclaimer: I do not own anything. If I did, then there would be no such name as Albus Severus in the last book!!!!!
Some things you should know: Voldemort is dead, Harry defeated him. Him and Ginny are on 'Stand By'. Ron and Hermione are not together.
Plot : Hermione has always hated flying, has always took an disinterest in quidditch, and has never personally flown a broom. Well, thats what she says. What if there's a bigger reason to why she hates flying? Pairings: HH HG RL
Chapter 1: Prolouge
Hermione Granger looked to cloudy blue sky, watching Harry, Ron, Fred, George, Ginny and others playing quidditch outside of the burrow. It was summer vacation and in a week they all would be attending Hogwarts: School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for the last time. So many adventures the golden trio has been through that when looking back, it seemed just like yesterday when she just happened walk into a certain compartment and meet the oh so famous Harry Potter. She sighed and leaned against a tree a unopened book in her hands. Memories last forever...
"Hermione!" Harry dived down to the ground on his firebolt and hovered above the ground next to where she was sitting. Hermione gave him a questioning, confused look.
Harry looked more lively than usual, more...happy. He deserves happiness...after all that he been through. He has grown up...as have all of us since that day. What she thought was true. They all had grown up, physically and mentally. She smiled at the young man in front of her,"Yes Harry?"
"Hermione! Why don't you play with us!" Excitement and hope shown in his gorgeous emerald eyes.
"I don't know Harry, you know I don't-" Hermione caught the look of fury and jealousy on Ginny's face, who was not to far away as Harry cut her off.
"Come on Mione! You can ride with me!" Harry grinned and held out his hand for her to take. "Please?" He gave her a puppy dog look that he had used many times before. She knew that look, and she had to fight herself to not give in. Never do they die...
"No! I mean, no thanks Harry." Hermione didn't look him in the eyes, but could hear from his voice that he was disappointed.
"Oh... okay then. Talk to you later." When Harry zoomed off, Hermione look into the far away sky. True friends stick together...
It sent shivers down her spine...what he said.
You can ride with me!
It was so familiar, and she knew why. Once upon a time, a long, long, time ago...she heard that simple sentence before. Rather...herself saying those very words.
She pushed back an oncoming memory, and opened her book. She'll have time to ponder on things later.
And never say goodbye... (AN: You may be hearing that rhyme later throughout the story.)
First Chappie Finish! Yes I know, it's short, review and Tell me what you think about it!!!! Should I continue????
