Disclaimer: I don't own Fruits Basket.

I love strawberry crepes. I have always loved chocolate crepes, but then I met a special someone who changed my taste in crepes, and my outlook on life.

I had just finished watching Mogeta with Hiro, and wanted to go to the park. I love the park. It's so lively, yet peaceful, because there is nobody to be mean to you. Little children won't make fun of you for your hair or eye color. They just want to play with you.

So I was on the swings, seeing how high I could go, when a little girl with wavy blonde hair climbed on the swing next to me. She was wearing the cutest little pink dress and looked so cute, I had to stop swinging so high so that I could look at her. She saw me looking at her and smiled.

"Wanna see me jump off the swing?" she asked me. "Sure." I replied. She jumped off and landed neatly on her feet. "That's really good!" I said, slowing my swing down so that I could get off. "What's your name?" I asked her. "Momo!" she answered cheerfully. "What's yours?" "Kisa Sohma" I answered. "Kisa lets be friends!" Momo exclaimed. "Sure." I answered. "Let's be friends."

I met Momo at the park a lot after that. Almost every time I was there, Momo was waiting on the swings or by the slide. We would have contests on how high we could swing, how fast we could run, and how many times we could skip rope. We would play until we were so tired we'd lie down in the grass, our heads together, with my orange hair getting tangled in her blonde locks.

"Kisa, I'm hungry." Momo told me. This was weeks after our first meeting. "I'm getting a crepe. Do you want one?" She took a little pink flowered wallet out of the pocket in her dress. "Sure!" I replied. "What kind do you want?" Momo asked, her head cocked to the side. "I'll have whatever your having." I answered. She got up and ran to the crepe stand. "Two strawberry crepes please." She told the man. He smiled at her and handed her two. She paid the man, thanked him and ran back to me.

"I got strawberry!" she told me. I bit into it. It was really good! Momo laughed. " You really like it, don't you?" I nodded, my moth full of crepe. She bit into hers and got strawberry all over her face. Now it was my turn to laugh.

"Momo?" A man was behind us. We turned around. "What are you doing here?" Momo leaned over and whispered in my ear, "That's my papa." She turned to him and said. "Hi Papa! I'm playing with my friend Kisa Sohma!" Her Papa suddenly got an odd expression on his face. "Sohma? You're a Sohma?" He asked me. I nodded. "Well, Momo, we need to get going." "Ok." Momo said. "Bye-bye Kisa! See you soon!" I waved goodbye to her. I never saw her again.

I went back to that park everyday for the next two weeks. I never saw her. Even now, when I pass that place, I look for my little blonde friend. I hope that one day I will see her again, but for now, I'll go to the park with Hiro. I'll buy a strawberry crepe, and savor the memories of Momo along with the taste of the crepe. And maybe one day, as I'm swinging on the swings, Momo will hop up on to the swing next to me and say hi. I told this story to Momiji once, and he told me that Momo was his little sister, and that she wasn't allowed to have anything to do with the Sohmas, because his mother might remember him. So now, all I can do is wait for Sissy to break the curse, so I can go find my friend again.

I'm still waiting.
