*Chapter 1~Bad day*
Omi's mind wandered as the college professor lectored to the class about...God knows what. Omi didn't care, all he wanted to do right now was climb under his feather blanket in his nice warm bed and sleep. Omi yawned at the thought, his eyelids dropping slightly. He leaned his head on his hand and face towards the window. The day was dreary. It had been raining all day and the sun was hidden behind a dark gray sky. After what seemed eternity, the professor released the class. Omi gathered up his what seemed like 50 pounds of school books, binders, and other school materials and started towards the city bus stop. But by the time he got there the bus had already left and Omi was stuck to walk home in the slow drizzle of rain that was falling.
45 minutes passed and Omi stumbled into the Koneko flower shop soaking wet and muddy, as well as grouchy. Kicking off his muddy shoes in the corner and dropping his heavy bookbag with a thump, Omi grabbed the mop and bucket to make an effort to clean up the muddy mess he dragged in before Ran had a chance to see it and yell at him. "Don't bother, Omi, the customers will just drag more in anyways." Yohji said as he was coming down the stairs with a cup of coffee in his hands. "Where have you *been* anyways, your 45 minutes late!" Yohji asked, not bothering to look up from his car magazine from behind the counter. Omi, already irritated enough and not wanting to listen to lecturing as he had done all day, let the mop fall to the floor with a clack, which caused Yohji to spill hot coffee all over his clothing. Yohji watched Omi storm up the stairs, past Ken who had just come out of his bedroom to see what was going on, and into his bedroom, slamming the door shut. Yohji followed behind and tossed his apron to Ken. "Who pee'd in his Cheerios?" Ken asked with a snort. Yohji shrugged and went to Omi's bedroom door and rapped lightly. He could hear sobs from within and a small choked voice told him to go away. Yohji pickpocketed the locked door open and found Omi on his bed face down into his pillows, crying. Yohji sat on his bedside and reached for Omi's shoulder. "Omi..." Omi turned and fell into Yohji's lap. Still sobbing, Omi sobbed his way through the wroughts of the day, occansionally pausing to blow his nose on Yohjis shirt. "Sounds to me like you've had a hell of a day..I think that those teachers of yours can go to hell, as well as that bus driver.." Yohji smiled slighty and Omi felt his lips curve upwards. "Aha, We have a smile. Now there's the Omi I know." Omi sniffed in response and Yohji continued. "Tell ya what. You need a day off. How bout tommorow I treat you to a day of fun, just the 2 of us. Hm?" "But...I can't miss school...and.." "No Buts! You deserve this!" Yohji interuppted. Omi smiled and gave Yohji a hug. "Thanks, Yohji." "Anything for a bud" Yohji winked and ruffled Omi's hair. "Now get a good nights sleep, you'll need the energy for tommorow." Yohji tucked Omi in and turned out the lights. "Good Night, little one" and shut the door quietly. In the hallway Ken was awaiting anxiously. "Well?" "Bad day" Yohji replied.
