A forest. A forest covered in a blinding mist that settles and rests on the ground. A girl is there. She is standing looking around her, as if she were prey, running from the hunter. She is wearing a long flowing gown, a teal one that falls gracefully around her ankles. She whips her head around. There was a slight crunching of leaves. Her eyes widen. Her breathing increases. Her slender legs begin to quiver in fear. She knows he's there. Watching her, waiting to see what her next move will be. Then he appeared. He was well built, strong. His bare chest rose and fell as he moved towards her. His loosely fitting cargo pants creased and folded as his body moved. At the sight of him her heart sped up. Then her throat became thick with fear. She could no longer scream. As he approached her his eyes glistened in the light. She was frozen. She was no longer connected to her body. He held her there with his stare. She didn't realize he had moved until she felt something- a hand, touch her right cheek. Cold. His hand was freezing. It left a sting on her cheek. Suddenly his breath she could feel on the back of her neck. That too was cold. She held her breath. She silently waited for the pain that was sure to come. Nothing. She waited. The faint sound of a raindrop is all that can be heard. There are now more raindrops that begin to fall. It's pouring. Too scared to move she closes her eyes and sighed. In an instant he's there in front of her his eyes boring into hers. She caught her breath.

Suddenly……. he lunged his face at hers.
