Note from the Author: This story is one told as though you're there. Yeah, you've gotta guess which characters which, but I will tell you this is a lovely scene between Roy, Riza, Havoc, Fuery, and Breda. There. Now it shouldn't be so hard to figure out who's talking...at least I hope so...
DISCLAIMER: I don't own Full Metal Alchemist or any of the characters, no matter how much I may want to.
It's one of those days. Those kind of days when it won't stop raining. In other words, it's a day you really shouldn't try talking to the Colonel. I have witnessed many walk into this office and leave running for their very lives. I can't help but feel this is all my fault. But the Colonel is a forgetful man! He needs to be reminded that on these days- on days the rain won't stop falling -he is entirely useless!
I'm right here, you know. If you want to complain about me, try being more discreet about it!
See? The Lieutenant's right. It's like this on every rainy day. He spends the morning depressed but when the situation arises, or when he's hungry, he uses it as an excuse to get worked up and yell at his poor subordinates.
I yell at you because you're idiots! Now get out of my office! Don't you have work to do?!
Not now. Sorry, Colonel, but you're a lot more fun than some of the other guys around here.
I'm not fun?
Yeah, thanks a lot…
Please, Second Lieutenant, the Colonel has a lot of work to do. You really shouldn't disturb him.
I saw that! I saw that!
I beg your pardon, Colonel, but what did you see?
You're siding with that idiot over there! You think I'm overemotional on rainy days! Well I'm not! I'm perfectly fine! I act like this on every other day! Now everyone, get out!
Even me, sir?
No, not you, Lieutenant. But they don't need to be here! They just want to piss me off! Now get out!!
You're doing it again, Colonel…
You should really try saying "please." It might do you some good one day.
All right, that's enough. I'm serious, you three. The Colonel's very busy and he needs to get his work done!
Like he's really gonna do it anyway.
Yeah, I mean, all he's been doing for the past hour is doodling pictures of the sun on the back of his paperwork.
I don't mean to be rude or anything, but he's right, you know.
That was on the back of my paperwork! And you didn't tell me! Dammit!
Of course we didn't tell you, Colonel, why would we do something like that? It was so much fun watching you pathetically draw your ideal weather conditions.
You draw like you're three…
Shut up! Lieutenant, did you notice I was drawing on the back of very important papers?
…..
Answer me, Lieutenant!
Yes, sir. I did notice.
That's it! Everyone out NOW!! And don't come back!
Oh my God! He's gonna do it!
Colonel, please don't do it!
We're gonna be burned to a crisp! We're all do-o-omed…!
Somebody do something!!
Colonel, LOOK! It's stopped raining!
What…? Hey, you're right, Lieutenant. Well, that's good news! Um…why are you three huddled in the corner?
N-no reason…
I'm still alive…
Damn maniac…
