She looked into the mirror and saw a stranger staring back at her. She knew the stranger's name of course; it was Elena Mary Gilbert. However, that didn't mean anything to her, it wasn't her. She'd quickly learned that what she was wasn't what other people saw, they saw the thing designated Elena Gilbert. The its only saw what they wanted; their pathetic little thing that called itself Elena. It annoyed her, but it definitely suited her. As long as they saw the it Elena, they would treat her like that thing. And they would do anything for it.

"Ready for some fun?"

She turned around and saw the thing called Damon standing in the doorway.

Why did it call itself Damon? Certainly there were better designations. Why not call itself Bruce, or Oprah, or Apollo, or Mountain. All were designations that the its assigned to powerful things.

"Yeah, where are we going?" She asked it, brushing her thoughts aside.

"Out for a bite to eat, a real one." It smiled in a way that she guessed was supposed to be reassuring.

Her spirits soared at the thought of actual food, not these pathetic blood bags that these things kept giving her. The thought was enough for her to go along with its plan.

She walked down the street before coming to a location that suited her. She laid down on the pavement and waited.

After 223 seconds, a car drove up and stopped, the driver having noticed her.

"Oh my god! Are you okay?" It asked, running up to her

"Are you in any pain?"

She smirked slightly, "I don't feel anything."

"I have some blankets in my car, I'll go get them, just, don't move."

As the it ran back to the car, she smiled, pathetic little things always wanted to help. It made them so easily to manipulate.

She got up and used her speed to run behind the it. As it turned around, it gasped in shock at the sight of her, and screamed as she revealed her true vampiric form.

She bit into its neck, and it struggled, almost like it didn't want to die.

'But, its don't want, they just are,' she thought herself as she fed.

"Hey, hey, cut back a little," The it called Damon said, suddenly appearing behind her.

She stopped feeding and looked at it, glaring,

"This is the first person not on vervain I've seen in days, and I'm hungry." She returned to feeding

The thing behind her groaned, "I can't believe you're making me say this," It grabbed her and pulled her off her prey, "Show a little restraint."

She felt the urge to strike it down and destroy this thing, but she resisted; this thing may be an it, but it was still a vampire with a century and a half over her. A direct attack would not end well, she'd have to think of another plan.

"I thought you said this was supposed to be fun," She said, grumbling and walking away.

It had the intended affect; it looked guilty. Guilt was useless, it implied some sort of empathy. As she walked away, she began thinking of the other its; the ones called Caroline, and Stefan. The thing called Stefan was as old as the thing called Damon. The other it though, it was only a few months old, it was the vulnerable one, and it was the one she'd go at.

So, what do you guys think, this is a story of Elena without her humanity. I believe that she is a true sociopath, and I am trying to make her out to seem like she thinks she is the only 'real thing' on the planet. Please review :)
