My Chocolate Milk

Author's Note: I wrote this awhile ago while I was still reading the book. It's not the best, but hopefully it's entertaining.

Disclaimer:I don't own The Outsiders or any of it's characters, sadly.

Johnny and Ponyboy sat on Pony and Soda's bed. Johnny sat still, paying very close attention to every word that came out Pony's mouth. It was a love story, and they were both really into it.

They heard the sound of feet running, and someone ran into the closed door.

Both Johnny and Ponyboy were stared at the door as it flung open to reveal Soda rubbing his cheek.

"Oww. That hurt." he muttered before looking at the pair on the bed and remembering the reason for his being there in the first place. "Oh yeah. Darry says it's time for dinner Ponyboy. Are you gonna stay, johnny?"

Johnny nodded his head and the three of them made their way to the kitchen, where they found Steve and Darry already eating hamburgers. They grabbed their own food and everyone sat down to eat.

Not too long after, they heard the front door open and close.

"I'm home!" a feminine voice screamed.

"We're in the kitchen!" Soda yelled back.

There were footsteps and then a girl with red eyes was standing in the doorway. "Hi Darry, hi Soda, hi Pony, hi Stevie, hi Johnny." she greeted each of them.

She took one look at what they were eating and made a face. She made her way to tha fridge and got some chocolate cake out. The red-eyed girl looked around some more and when she didn't find what she was looking for, asked, "Who took my chocolate milk?"

Everyone pointed to Steve, who was in the middle of taking a drink of chocolate milk. He tried to look innocent as he put the cup own.

"Hand it over, Randle." she told him and held her hand out.

He just glared at her and took another drink before replying. "Get lost. It's mine."

She tackeld him to the ground and they started to wrestle. "I want my chocolate milk back!" she screamed in Steve's face.

He flipped their positions so that he was on top and said, "I had it first! I don't wanna fight a girl"

"What does me bein' a girl got anything to do with you stealing my milk?" she asked.

"It doesn't but girls are just weaker than boys. That's why I'm not gonna hit you." he replied.

"Good" she rolled them over so that she was straddling his waist. "That'll make it easier for me."

This is when Soda decided to intervine. He knew first hand that Valentyn Smith could pack a mean punch. She'll also sream, kik, and bite, but that's another story.

"Val I think Steve is sorry and-" Soda started.

"The hell I am! It's my milk! I had it first!" Steve screamed.

Valentyn got a couple punches in before Soda even made it over to where her and Steve were. Then she had to fight Soda, who was trying to pull her off Steve, and still hit Steve.

After a couple minutes of struggling, Soda managed to get her of, but not before she kicked Steve in the head, knocking him into a cabinet and knocking him out.

Valentyn dusted herself off, grabbed the piece of cake she had earlier, and sat in Steve's seat to enjoy her chocolate milk and cake.

"Umm, Valentyn?"

"Yes Johnny?" she answered, looking up from her plate.

He wanted to ask her if she had anger issues or something, but though better of it and instead said, "Nevermind."

Author's Note: Let this be a lesson to you all, NEVER take Valentyn Smith's choolate milk!
