A/N: DO NOT think I ACTUALLY smoke, this was just a dream. BTW.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I
was sitting on the river banks, just listening to the water and a
cigarette in between my left index finger and middle finger. So
silent, so calm. I take a long, slow drag of my cigarette
lolling my head towards my feet as I exhaled.The
orange glow of the street lights behind me in the parking lot
illuminated the area around me... my shadow, my only friend.I take a glance up at the
sky and I can see a slight hint of pale grey begin to bring up the
warming sun. I return my gaze to the river while taking
once again another puff of the cigarette in hand.I'm
not really thinking about anything here. Just contemplating.
Anyway... Haven't you ever just sat and listened to the world
and the sweet music she makes? Just sitting by, letting
yourself go, and not having to always catch up to the world?
Time moves too fast for anyone to ever enjoy it anymore...It
was about twilight, you know... in between night and dawn. I
lean back on my elbows, still a cigarette in my hand. I loll my
head back briefly closing my eyes to soak in the peace surrounding
me.I
was knocked out of my meditation by a man's husky voice sounding
gracefully through the air, like a feather in the wind."May
I join you?" he says. I
think nothin' of it, other than he is just another person in this
world that likes this time of day. I gesture for him to sit,
never looking at his face, but never breaking eye contact with
the river at my feet.Out
of the corner of my eye I see a puff of smoke being slowly
exhaled. My curiosity got the best of me. I just had
to see who sat down. I guess when I shifted, I caught the man's
attention and he, too, turned to meet the young lady he joined.
I finally realized who it was… Johnny Depp. In normal
everyday clothing. No make-up, wigs, or costumes.
Pure Johnny. No strings attached. Literally there was no
paparazzi or bodyguards. Our eyes locked at the sight of each
other. I was so shocked, I couldn't speak or move. His
eyes were the most chocolate brown I have ever seen. He had his
glasses sat atop his head, holding back his wavy brown locks.
We
both took a drag of our cigarettes and exhaled... never breaking eye
contact.
"Hi."
is all we both managed to say to each other before the sun arose over
the hill and shone brightly on to the rolling river. Johnny
glanced over at the river, then back at me.
"Good
morning,
Love."
A/N: Then unfortunately I woke up.Now, I don't know why I had this dream, but I have an odd notion that it may be a glimpse of who could be the man for me. (Well, similar... at least. I know I can never have Johnny Depp. One can only hope! lol)
