The echoing sound of hammering could be heard inside the tower. Kiki was swamped with cloths to fix. He had already fixed many, and used so much energy even though every once in a while, his young apprentice Raki would ask him to take a break. There was no rush to fix these cloths that were brought to him damaged after Saturn's defeat, but as the only one who could repair them, Kiki had to keep working hard. Beads of sweat trinkled down his neck as he continued to work, his energy was depleting quickly but he was close to finishing the current cloth.
One...two...three more strikes should do it...and it was done.
The Aries saint lowers his arms and stumbles just slightly while panting softly; He was spent. Raki would enter the room, her eyes growing worried for her master. "Kiki-sama! You have to rest! You've been fixing cloths all day and you need a break." She told him as if she was his own mother. Kiki, still panting, stands up straight and lets out a weary sigh.
"I'm fine...We'll be needing more stardust sand. Could you go get more please?" Raki had never heard him sound so tired before. Kiki was a hardworking man, devoted to be like his Master Mu once was, and like he did for his own mentor before him. The other saints needed their cloths; what if another threat was to appear? That's what Kiki was worried about.
The little apprentice make a disapproving pout. She wouldn't leave to get what he needed; however, her hands raise in Kiki's direction. Eyes glowing, the tools within the gold saint's hands glowed with them. Kiki was too exhausted to realize what was happening sooner and would try to grip his tools tightly after noticing Raki using telekinesis. They were now in Raki's hands.
"Raki, give them back." He received a head shake, causing him to frown.
"I'll give them back once you rest." She replied. "If you keep doing this without a proper break, you'll hurt yourself, or worse. You may be a gold saint, but even you have limits!" Raki was right; even golden saints had to know when it was time to stop. This wasn't a fight, but indeed Kiki was exhausted after fixing more clothes than he ever has. It's exactly why he didn't become Pope.
The man stayed silent as Raki continued. "Please go get some rest, and later when you're all better, you can fix the rest of the damaged cloths. I'll even go and get a whole lot more stardust sand for you to come back to." She assured him. Kiki would think about it. Rest was something he needed, and he could count on Raki to do the task while he's 'taking a breather'. Heck, even Mu took a break here and there. If he could do it, so could Kiki. Besides, there was no fighting his dear apprentice.
"You're right. It would do some good to stretch my legs and get some fresh air." Kiki would smile. Raki would return one of her own. This could be good; maybe he could go check on the repairs back at Sanctuary, or something relaxing. His apprentice would giggle.
"Then go do that! I'll get ready to go get the dust while you're gone." She continued to hold her master's repairing utensils, bring them behind her back as her smile became more wide. Kiki chuckled and would walk forward to rub her head. "You're a good apprentice for looking after her mentor. Don't expect me to be gone long though."
"Take all the time you need!"
With that, Kiki would teleport, but not to Sanctuary. No, there was a place he had in mind.
First chapter of my new story! I haven't wrote a fanfic in years so know that I'm real rusty at this xD
