Hey guys(: so sorry I haven't updated Risky Liaisons or Secret! I've been so busy, I jut got back from a trip to the University of Maryland, and now I'm at the beach again! I just wrote this little piece in the car on the way here. I actually used five songs for inspiration. Rehab by Rhianna, No Hands by Waka Flocka Flame, Hips Don't Lie by Shakira, California King Bed by Rhianna, and Bad Romance by Lady Gaga. Short, but not very sweet;). Enjoy! I'll try and update soon. Thanks for all the reviews on my other stories. Love you guys!

Unhealthy

"That's unhealthy".

"Really?" She sarcastically said as she took another drag of her cigarette.

He stared at her unabashedly.

"Why are you avoiding me?"

"I'm not. I'm just making a point not to talk to you when I'm forced to be in your presence."

"That's avoiding", Chuck said pointedly.

"Not really. Avoiding would be if I refused to go places because you're going to be there. But that would be weak."

"Nobody ever accused you of being weak."

"Yea? How about that one time…"

"That was a fight. You know I say things I don't mean."

Blair gave him a withering look as she stubbed out her cigarette. "I'm not getting into this right now. I'm going to dance." He made a move to go with her. "Without you."

Chuck sighed and resigned himself to staying where he was. "You know that you're still legally my wife, right?" he called after her.

She turned around and stared at him. "Yes", she simply answered. And she walked away.

But he wasn't giving up now.

"Why did you leave?" he said, running up to her.

"The first time? Or the second? Both had to do with your stints in rehab, without success."

"The third worked out fine. I've been clean for three months."

"This is neither the time nor the place to discuss this." With that, Blair walked away to go bump and grind on the dance floor with the friends she had come with. Within a few minutes, a couple guys had come over to the women to offer drinks, and company. He watched his wife flirt with some younger, blonde haired muscle head for a few minutes, before he decided he needed another drink.

When he went back to check on them, he saw that his wife and the blonde guy were gone. Chuck's heart sank, and he saw red. The guy better not be touching his wife's arm, let alone any other part of her body.

He thought to himself 'how had he lost her?' and a voice in his head whispered, 'drugs…'. But then another voice whispered 'she's not lost yet... she's still your wife".

With that thought in his mind, he set out to find the woman he loved. Whether she loved him back or not, was irrelevant. He didn't care if he had to interrupt her and blonde boy, he'd find her.

However, he did not have to search long for her. As soon as he walked outside, he saw Blair smoking another cigarette. He let out a sigh of relief and went over to her. She didn't even look at him.

"You found me." She sounded unsurprised.

"I was watching you and blonde boy. I thought you went somewhere with him."

"He wanted me to… and I almost did. But then two things happened. I realized that I was almost ten years older than him… and I saw you leave. And it hurt a little too much for my liking. As much as I don't want to, I still love you."

He felt his heart inflate. "I-", he began, but was cut off as she kissed him.

"Don't ruin it by talking. Get a cab. I'll get my coat."

As she walked away he called, "You know, smoking really is a bad habit. It's bad for your health."

Over her shoulder she threw, "So are you, but I don't see myself quitting that habit anytime soon."

FIN.
