Not too sure what caused me to write ANOTHER TsumexOC one shot, but eh, here it is. This one amused me, so I hope you enjoy XD

I do not own Wolf's Rain, only my OC Shauna.

The wolves had been running for days, with little to no rest. They survived on the moonlit nights alone, not having time to stop for food. Their body ached from the running, their stomach's growled for food and they all just wanted to sleep. When they finally stopped, it was like a wave of relief had washed over them.

Tsume sat down against a tree, finally being able to relax. He found the idea of sleep very welcoming, and it didn't take much resistance for his eyes to close.

However, sleep wasn't what he was gonna get.

Before he could finally get some rest, he felt a hand tug his sleeve. He grunted, expecting it to be the runt and was about to tell him off, but he was dead wrong.

Instead of the runt, he found that it was the she wolf he had chosen as his mate. She was pouting.

Tsume sighed, "What is it, Shauna?"

"I'm cold."

He twitched. She interrupted his sleep because of that? "And what am I supposed to do about it?"

"What your expected to do!" She made a face, "Keep me warm." She moved over, putting his arm around her shoulders, "Bit like that."

The grey wolf clicked his tongue in annoyance, "Alright, there. Now can I sleep?" He saw her nod, and his eyes closed again.

"Oh, by the way, Tsume?"

He bit back an annoyed groan, and willed himself to be patient as he looked at her again, "Now what?"

Shauna just grinned, "Can I... Sit in your lap?" Her cheeks reddened asking the question, to which he found amusing.

An odd question, maybe, but he didn't deny it, "Fine. If it keeps you quiet..."

The blonde grinned at this and moved over, so she was sitting in his lap and her arms on his chest. His arms wrapped around her, pulling her close.

"Happy now?" He asked, irritation seeping into his voice little by little. He just wanted to sleep...

"Think so..." She answered, grinning.

He sighed in slight relief, "Good," He muttered, closing his eyes again, expecting to fall asleep at last.

Nope.

"Hey Tsume?"

'What could she possibly want now?' He thought, but bit back the urge to growl. Instead, he grumbled, without opening his eyes, "What is it this time?"

"I don't really wanna sleep..." Shauna pouted, tugging at him.

"Shauna," He didn't even try to hide the growl that rumbled from his throat, "Go to sleep. I'm tired, and your not helping."

She started to whine, "But Tsumeee-"

"Quit whining."

"Make me." She huffed.

She should of known better than to challenge the grey wolf, for he gave a sly smirk and pulled her forward. Before she could protest, he quickly pressed his lips to hers, silencing her and causing her to freeze in surprise. Her normally pale face went bright red, but she didn't pull away. Instead, she allowed herself to relax and her eyes closed as she leaned closer. Tsume smirked, amused at how easy it had been.

After a moment, Tsume pulled back and smirked at her, seeming smug. "Now will you go to sleep? I gave you what you wanted."

Shauna yelped slightly, "W-What? I didn't-"

"Don't bother, I know that's what you were hinting at." He smirked at her flushed face.

"Hmph... I-Idiot..." She mumbled, hiding her face in his chest.

Tsume simply chuckled and put his chin on the top of her head, closing his eyes and finally getting some sleep.

Best way to keep her quiet.
