"Gacky"
Summary: Daniel left his special coffee out again, and he's in for it…
Genre: FLUFF, humor
Rated: PG
Pairings: DUH. DanJan.
Author's Note: Well, here's my cure to writing too much angst. Write a nice, fluffy, kick-ass DanJan fic (you don't have to include the kick-ass part). You see, I was trying to get out of "Years" mode and back into my romance/humor routine. It's a lot more comforting- and less nightmares. This is what I came up with. Un-betaed.
Disclaimer: I don't own anything other than little Summer (see my author's note at the end) and Herbert's French Vanilla Hazelnut Coffee Blend.
Thanks to whoever wrote "The Icing Wars"- that helped me get back on track for DanJan stuff.

"This is gross, Mommy!"
Janet Fraiser-Jackson looked up from her book, "What's that?"
Summer Jackson, a small four-year-old with brown curls, held up a bag that read: Herbert's French Vanilla Hazelnut Coffee Blend, "It tastes all gacky. Daddy eats this?"
Janet placed her book on the table and stood, the weight of being five months pregnant weighing on her, "That's because Daddy is gross. Can I have that bag?"
Summer handed her the bag and automatically stuck her thumb in her mouth.
Janet put the coffee away in a cabinet far from her daughter's arms, "I'd take your thumb out your mouth, or else you'll need braces, and you know what that means."
Summer took her thumb out of her mouth, "I be as ugly as Daddy in old pictures."
Daniel entered the kitchen, frowning, "That's not nice. You really do take after your Mommy, don't you, honey?" he leaned down to his daughter's height and received a poke in the nose, "Why, thank you."
Summer giggled and ran out of the room. Daniel stood, shaking his head, "OK, what did I do to be made fun of?"
Janet crossed her arms, "You left your coffee open in the bottom shelf- where Summer can get to it."
Daniel looked guilty, and then he gave her his best puppy eyes.
Janet gave him no mercy, "You can do better than that."
Daniel switched tactics and moved towards her slowly, a boyish smile on his face. His hands found their way on her hips and he pressed himself against her lightly, careful not to squash Baby, "Yes, I can," he whispered into her ear.
They kissed for a few moments, something that Daniel did not remember doing for a while. She broke the kiss and smiled. Her hand snuck up to the cabinet next to her and took out the bag of coffee. Daniel's eyes followed it. She ducked slowly under his arms and began to walk slowly out of the kitchen, "That was a lot better than the puppy eyes, but to teach you a lesson, I still think I'm going to have to throw this out."
She left the room, a very small, slightly evil grin on her face.
Daniel turned to face the empty doorway in numb shock. He blinked several times, then muttered, "Pregnant women really are evil."

Author's Note: I just had to name Danny's kid 'Summer' because, for one thing- I think that Daniel would kill himself if his kid was called Summer and, two- can't you just see Jack making fun of Daniel for calling his kid 'Summer'?
