Twas the night before Snowdown
And in the Winters Claw Base
Sejuani was sitting
A smile on her face
Around her were children
Both young girls and boys
Some were relaxing
Others, playing with toys
"Come round, come round,"
She declared with a shout
"I've got a story to read,
So please, gather about!"
The Children then quieted
And sat at her feet
For they all knew that this
Was a spectacular treat.
"'Twas the night before Snowdown,"
Sejuani began
"And all through the Freljord,
Santa, he ran...
His belly was jiggling
his beard trailing behind
His legs were a blur
As he ran out of time
For Saint Nick had been tricked
by a dastardly scheme
A very dark plot
by that evil Ice Queen!
Lissandra, the witch
had no holiday cheer
She sought to stop Snowdown
from coming that year!
With an army of trolls,
The ice witch attacked!
Her monsters were quick,
Right on Santa's tracks!"
"Oh no!" Cried the children
Showing their fright
How could santa defeat
The Ice Witch's might?!"
"Not alone," Sejuani replied,
then gave them a wink
"Not to worry, young ones,
There's more than you think!
For Santa had wandered
Into the territory we own!
He has allies here,
and he must have known
That we'd ride out in numbers!
We'd save him and more!
We'd crush all those trolls,
and kill the Ice wh-"
"Sejuani, there are children present," Olaf chimed.
"Witch! Kill the Ice Witch!" She corrected herself.
"This happened just now!
She declared quite loud,
and now I've a surprise
So don't turn around!"
Sejuani leapt up then,
her book tossed away
She looked at the children,
and a smile she made
"Now all close your eyes,
and all count to ten
and when I say go
Open again!"
Thus the children followed
her every command
and were blind to the things
around them quite grand
Volibear came,
his fur covered in clothes
From a beard on his chin
to boots on his toes.
He fit the part nicely
of dear old saint Nick
From the bag on his shoulder
to the belt buckle going click
"Ho-Ho-Ho!" He roared,
His grin showing joy
Have a wonderful Snowdown
Here! I've brought toys!"
The children they laughed
They jumped on the bear
Sej distributed presents
and a warmth filled the air.
The story concluded
the activity done
Volibear turned to go,
"Whoops! Gotta run!"
Then out of sight he moved
Causing the children to cheer
Sejuani just smiled,
"Have a happy New Year"
