HITMANS BODYGUARD: WEDDING DUES

"What are you so worried about, Darius? You look muy bien." Mrs. Kincaid spoke to her husband as she straightened out his tie.

"I'm not worried, baby. Motherfucker, about damn time that Bryce finally proposed to Amelia. I've been telling him, "Motherfucker, just pop the question! It's that easy! She'll say yes." Sonia laughed and continued to work on his tie. The only wedding either of them had ever been to was their own.

The sun beamed down onto the couple in their formal attire. Darius in his custom ordered suit and Sonia in the most beautiful black dress he had ever seen. Darius gently lifted her head and admired her eyes and smiled.

"You look absolutely gorgeous today." They smiled at each other and he kissed her. Because he was still wanted after killing Dukhovich, Darius never had a long time with his wife now a days. So he was going to cherish this day forever.

Sonia reluctantly pulled away. "Come on, tough guy. We don't want to miss the wedding." Darius nodded and fixed his collar. Sonia put her shoes on the pair were off.

"What are you so worried about, Michael? Tons of people get married." One of the groomsmen, Corben said to Michael Bryce who was standing in front of the mirror, looking petrified. The service was taking place in a garden behind a church, like Amelia always wanted.

"Yeah, I know dipshit. It's just… never happened to me before." He wasn't meaning to be a dick, but it must have been his nerves doing the talking for him. Bryce was never good at displaying and managing his feelings and expressing how he felt. He shouldn't be nervous today: it was supposed to be the best day of his life. So why did he feel like vomiting?

"Don't worry. I know what this feels like. Every groom goes through it." Corben said to him. "I'm sure Amelia is going through the same thing." Bryce looked back at himself in the mirror and cleared his took a deep breath. He had thought about Amelia, and amazing she was going to look when she walked towards him down the aisle. He smiled as her remembering her face helped to calm him down.

Just as Bryce finally felt himself becoming calm, someone else came in and said "Mr. Bryce, there's someone here to see you. He claims he' s a friend, but we still refused to let hi-" a tall intimidating man cut him off and barged through the door and almost immediately Michael's mood went back to panic.

"What's happening, motherfuckers!?" Darius yelled as he strode into the changing room and towards Michael. On his way he grabbed one of the wine glasses and helped himself.

"Hi. What are you doing here? Was all Michael could say.

"What do you mean what am I doing here? Ain't no way in hell I'm missing my best friend's wedding." Kincaid replied as he took a drink of his wine.

"First off, were not best friends. Second, didn't you notice I didn't send you an invite? Maybe because there's a reason for that?" Michael looked around briefly and remembered the other men in there with them.

"Uh, fellas can you all just give us a minute? We need to have a quick, "Heart to heart". Alone." The men began piling out as Kincaid simply laughed and took another drink. Bryce rubbed his hand on his face as he began pacing around the room, not really looking for anything in particular.

"Damn. I've never seen you clear out a room that quickly." Darius proclaimed.

"Okay, Darius, it's good to see, I hope your well, but you can't be here. Why do you think I didn't invite you?" Michael picked up his pocketknife and slide it up into his sleeve.

"Because you were afraid I was going to hog all the attention away from you two." Darius smiled that cheeky smile whenever he knows he's annoying Bryce.

"Funny. Obviously, that's why. No! It's because you're still a wanted fugitive and I do not need that kind of attention at MY wedding!"

"Relax motherfucker. I wouldn't have come all this way if I knew we couldn't handle it." He took one last swig of his drink.

"We? I'm sorry we? No no no. There's no we today, Darius. You are not going to ruin our special day today."

"Hey congratulations on finally popping the question to Roussel. I'm proud of you, man!" It was like Darius stopped listening to him. Like always.

Bryce just sighed, rubbed his face again and said "Fine. Fuck it. But the second you start getting shot at, you need to leave. Got it?"

"Yeah of course." Darius smirked again.

"Is Sonia here with you?"

Darius opened the door so that Michael could see a tall woman in a black dress sitting in the front row. She noticed them and waved to the both of them, Bryce waved back.

"I don't know if I can do this." Bryce said as he looked around for his soon to be wife. She was no where to be found obviously.

"What do you mean you can't fuckin do this? Of course you can! Don't go getting cold feet on me now motherfucker!" Kincaid exclaimed. He grabbed Bryce's shoulders and looked him in the eyes.

"Listen to me. You are going to go out there and you are going to say the whole wedding vow shit you say to each other and you are going to walk out here with your new wife. And I guarantee you, this will be the happiest day of both of your lives." Michael looked outside to the crowd gathered outside and exhaled deeply.

"Okay. Okay yeah your right." Darius flashed him a smile, straightened up his friends suit and they both took their places among the ceremony.
