The sun shone through the windows of the church casting rainbows across the floor. It was a beautiful day for a wedding and as the church began to fill with guests you could see the smiles and tears. Mrs Weasley sat at the front clutching a tissue in her hand as she bustled around. Mr Weasley had to pull his wife by the hand and almost restrain her into the pew before she began to adjust the bountiful flower arrangements decorating the church. Beside them sat Harry and Ginny sat smiling between themselves as they planned their own happy day. Harry had proposed a couple of days before the wedding and Ginny smiled down at the sparkling stone that shone on her finger.
Behind them sat Ron and Lavender who was screeching loudly about how beautiful this whole event was. Ron smiled at the woman next to him seemingly oblivious to her various flaws. On the other side of the church sat Mrs Granger who was talking to George about the wedding and had everything been organised. George reassured her that everything would run smoothly. Over the past couple of months the Weasley and Granger family had become quite close and when the engagement was announced chaos had ensued. Both the Weasley's and the Granger's had wanted to be involved in the wedding but eventually the bride and groom had decided that they would organise it themselves.
Everyone smiled as Fred walked in. His smile was serious and for once not full of mischief. It was a smile that his bride had discovered and it only came out when she was around. Fred's suit was wonderfully fitted a splash of colour added by the red flower in his button hole. Stepping up beside his brother he felt his heart begin to flip as butterflies brewed in his stomach. George came up to him telling him to relax. Fred knew he had made the right decision when he'd picked his twin as his best man. Hearing the music begin to play Fred turned to look at his bride.
Hermione brought tears to his eyes. She was so beautiful. Her dress was stunning on her. It had small sleeves that led down to a fitted bodice before flaring out slightly to flow delicately around her body. Beading flowed around the bottom of the dress as he watched his bride walk towards him. Hermione held onto her father's arm as she moved towards the man she loved. Tears swirled in her eyes as she looked into his eyes. He was her Prince Charming. She had been so happy when they had begun to see each other and now here she was. Pledging her love and life to him just as he was pledging it to her. Kissing her father she took Fred's hand as he pulled her up beside him. Tears spilt over both their faces as they smiled at each other. The ceremony passed by quickly both of them so happy.
'I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride'
As Fred's lips touched hers her heart burst with emotion and she found herself almost wishing they didn't have to wait through the reception. She wanted to be in his arms, in his bed. She heard the applause as they walked back down the eisle and felt the confetti land in her hair. As the sunlight hit the young couple Fred lifted his new wife into his arms twirling them around. As they got in the car to the reception they both felt blissfully happy.
