Following you- a SasuNaru poem

Where are you, my loved one?

Where do you reside;

In the heart of another?

In the depths of your pride?

Are you content

To dwell in your hate.

To hide in the darkness;

Watch the light dissipate?

No, You are lost

In the realm of your mind;

Gone with the wind

And the passage of time.

What are you, my loved one?

What have you become;

An avenger of wrongs,

To the depths you succumb.

Will you truly allow

This curse to unfold

Envelope your soul

And to break bonds of old?

What of your past.

And those you forgot?

We made who you were

And That Boy you are not.

Who are you, my loved one?

Who stole you from me?

What manner of hatred

Could not let you see?

The shadow of guilt

Still cuts through my soul

Do you feel it too?

Does your heart feel un-whole?

Why must you hurt them

My pride, soul and heart?

Accept my offer, loved one.

I can't stand to be apart.

Stay with me, my loved one.

Or let me come along.

I do not care of trifles such

As what is right or wrong.

For years I've waited for this day.

I've watched you from afar.

Never knowing if I could

Continue with this war.

The war within my soul, my love

The war around us now.

Bloodshed, fire, and Death of Friends

And I must ask you how.

How could you ask me, my loved one?

to accept you no longer need

the brush of my fingers upon your cheeks

and my replacement is hate and greed.

You say you can kill me with no regrets

But I can see the lie

And yet if you left me here and now

I have not doubt I would die.

For without you I am nothing

And I know it's the same for you.

That's why you wish to kill me

Only then will the lies become true.

Please stay with me, my loved one!

Don't leave me in this place!

Or let me join in your travesties

For you I would fall from grace.

Give me peace I beg you now

Show me what I once knew

Still lives behind your deceptive mask

I dare you to prove that untrue.

You turn around to leave me here?

You won't reap what you have sown?!

"……You coming with me, Dobe?

…I...I don't want to leave alone…"
