So I watched Howls Moving Castle earlier and it really got me thinking. So, the last thing Sophie says to Howls past self is ' Find me in the future'' and what's the first thing Howl says to her? 'There you are sweetheart, sorry I'm late, , I've been looking everywhere for you' It's so cute :D :D

So I decided to write this, first time writing Studio Ghibli fan fiction, definitely not the last (I'm thinking about writing a Cat Returns fanfiction fic I can think of a good story. Also, this is going of my recollection oftthe movie (I watched it this morning so it shouldn't be very far off.)

DISCLAIMER: I do nicht own Howl's Moving Castle, the book of it which I want to read but have not read belongs to its author and the film belongs to Studio Ghibli so yeah.

O/O

He could never forget the sound of her voice. It was sweet and the pure emotion he had heard could've brought anyone to tears. It had surprised him at first, her call, he had never seen the woman before, yet she cried out as if she knew him most of her life. From the faded glimpse he barely saw of her, he gathered she had silver hair; that was rather odd itself; such a young face with hair the colour of an old woman's.

He thought about her words once again and looked back to the burning fire demon in his small hands. Look for her in the future? That was something he could most definitely do.

And so he never forgot her. All through his training with Madame Sullivan, he listened for the same voice. The one imprinted in his memory. Even when he chased after other girls, some he never regretted, others well... let's just say the Witch of the Waste was his least favourite, out of them. Until, he was being chased by the witch's henchmen.

It was pure coincidence really that he met her at such a time. He was looking for some way to get out of the situation magnificently and then he heard it. Her voice

"Leave me alone." She said it loudly, not as loud as the yell he had first hear he shout but nevertheless it was loud.

There was no denying it was her voice, it was too similar to be an ironic coincidence, even if her hair was a dark brown instead of a silvery grey.

Without a moments hesitation, he stepped up behind her and rested his hand on her shoulder, starting to wrap an arm around her sneakily.

Eyes sparkling he said, "There you are sweetheart, sorry I'm late, I've been looking everywhere for you"

He smiled softly at her, she didn't hear the hidden truth in his words but perhaps one day she'd realise it, after all, he wasn't letting her go that easily.

Short and sweet, it's more of a drabble really; I didn't want to make it too long and have it drag on so here you go. Please read and review for me, it's really easy to do, Y'know .
