A Nanny Poem

There once was a nanny her name was Fran Fine

She always claimed she was twenty-nine

Then there's Maxwell he came from England

He produced Broadway plays but once had a band

And don't forget Niles eavesdropping was his game

He was supper funny but we never knew his last name

Of course Maxwell's business partner her name was CC

She loved Maxwell or so it seemed

Maxwell had kids only three

Maggie Brighton and little Gracie

Fran's family was always running about

Especially through the Sheffield's Kitchen

Maybe they thought it was takeout

The show had several seasons about six

Sometimes Fran would call Max a cold British fish

Fran had style she had flair

And CC once caught Niles dancing in his underwear

Max had a gray streak on top of his head

Oh yeah Fran and Max once slept in the same bed

The man who carried the feather duster

Had stunning blue eyes

His name was Niles

And he could bake pies

Fran and Niles were mean to CC

They made fun her and once let her drink pee

CC was not kind either

She went to "the place"

Once she said I can't imagine anything scarier

And Niles showed her, her face

Yetta was Fran's grandma Sylvia was her mother

Morty was her father, she had no brother

Val was her friend she wasn't very smart

But we all knew that she had a big heart

And don't forget Chester the famous dog of all

He hated CC but loved Fran

Oh did I tell you when Fran was in trouble

Max would chase her down the hall

They had three great weddings

Before the show ended

They were Fran Max Niles CC

And even Maggie's

I laughed and I cried

As my favorite TV show

Said their

Goodbyes

It was so sad to see them leave

They were like old friends

Buts it's like they say

All good things must come to an end
