Chapter 2: The Hardest Thing You've Ever Done

There was a knock at the door. Miranda hurry to the door full of pictures and poster just like the rest of her dorm room. She opened the door to her surprise it was Gordo.

"Hey, what are you doing here, I thought you and Lizzie had plans tonight" she said trying to stay angry at him.

"Yeah see that's the problem, were supposed to have plans but I have less than an hour to come up with them" he said talking fast

"And this would concern me because?" she said still pretending to be angry

"Come on Miranda don't be like this, I really need a girls help on this, pleeeeease? he said looking at her with puppy dog eyes

"Oh, alright" she said laughing, the puppy dog eyes always got her

She moved out the of the door-way, and let him in

"Thanks Miranda your the best" he said kissing her on the cheek

That kiss made Miranda feel warm inside, she always got this feeling around Gordo, she wanted so much to not get that feeling because deep down she knew he would

never have that feeling at least not when he was with her.

"Your welcome but you do relieze, you owe me big time" she said teasing.

"What ever you wan't" he said gratefully.

"So do you have any idea of what kind of evening you wan't this to be"? Miranda asked

"Well I wan't it to be really fancy with candles and crap, you know the whole shabang"

"Okay, what about that new french restaurant, that just opened on the corner of 29 and Memorial"

" What ever you say your the boss" he said cheerfully

"Right so I'll just make the reservations and everything and were all done here" she asked

"I guess, thank you so much, you'll forever have my undying gratitude" he said standing up to leave "I'll see you later"

Miranda's P.O.V

Okay, you can handle this, It's not like this is the hardest thing you've ever done I mean what's one dinner date, well except for the fact that it could be the most life altaring moment in your whole existence, but no big thing, I'll just call the restaurant and make the reservations, you know I could do something to sabatoge the date, but what would make me another jealous obsessed loser, another pathetic "double E" this thought made Miranda laugh. She had learned that word from Lizzie. It was a shame how far apart her and Lizzie had grown. She had really missed having her besr friend around since she usually spent all her time with Ronny. But a part of her was glad she wasn't around to relieze what a great guy she was giving up. She hated being jealous of her best friend, she absoultly hated it.
