The sky was filled with fire and smoke, and pleas for help were heard all over. It seems that the people of Fiore had given up, as they had just witnessed the death of a heroes, and the only one who seemed to be trying was the small salmon haired boy, who was desperately shooting flames out of his mouth and hands. At his feet, laid a much older girl with the same salmon pink haired, except she seemed knocked out cold. Across the street of these two pinkettes, was a woman desperate to save her daughter, who was barely five and holding hands with another blonde, who was also five.

"Kai! Watch out!" yelled the woman, warning him of the dragon who was about to send a whirlwind. Lucky for him, he managed to duck and hide under a piece of rubble and grab his sister with him.

"Thanks Aunt Juvia! Close call don't you think?" Kai replied with a slightly smug face. He did have the right to be proud, but right now want the time to be prideful. He slung his sister over his sister and dragged them next to his Aunt Juvia, who immediately started treating her wounds.

"Graylee can you hand me the water pitch?" Juvia asked her daughter. Graylee nodded and went to fetch her mother some water. Juvia examined the girl's burns, and Kai turned towards the battlefield. Through the midst of ashes, smoke and debris, he could slightly make out the shape of a silhouette. As he looked closer he could see that it was a girl, a girl his age.

"Aunt Juvia I'll be right back" Kai said as he jumped up and dashed towards the girl before his Aunt can stop him. He was about a hundred meters away from her when he suddenly stopped. The girl had suddenly started to glow, and from the corner of his eye he could sense that a dragon nearby had caught sudden interest in the glowing girl. He broke out into a full sprint and was about to grab her arm when he, again, abruptly got cut of when a dragon came soaring at them in full speed.

The girl snapped out of whatever the heck she was doing and stopped glowing, stared to face the dragon wide eyed.

"This is for Fairytail you puny lizard!" Kai roared and had both of his fist on fire, ready to hit the dragon. And hit the dragon he did, and if you saw the sky that night it would've been like looking into a spoonful of blood.
