Game Over- Those two simple words flashed in red across the TV screen, mocking the middle-aged man sitting on the couch, "Damn it! Killed off on level 7 again!"

"Relax Captain, it just a game," teased the man sitting next to him.

Humor was the last thing Don Cragen needed. Standing quickly, he threw down his controller and looked down at the man mocking him, "Well, Doctor, you're the one who deemed this necessary. I am ready to put down the controller and write this off as a waste of time!" yelled Don, frustrated after an hour spent in front of a TV trying to master a game made for people 30 years his junior.

Looking contrite, George Huang stood up to face his angry co-worker, "I'm sorry Don, really. This really is important for your case."

"Why? All the evidence points to the brother and after the interview he had with Olivia and Elliot, it seems pretty obvious he did it."

"This game is the central focus in Glenn's life. He's retreated into the fantasy of it. If we play the game all the way through, we might have a better idea why he murdered his sister. Just think of it as research into Glenn's motives."

"I'm not sure why I am the one who is 'researching' right now, I've never played many video games. I am about ready to give up."

"I told you this earlier, it has to be you. You've gotten further than Fin did, further than anyone else who tried."

"The fact you've got me wrapped around your finger probably helps too. Makes it hard to tell you no," Don murmured quietly. He quickly scanned the busy room of detectives below them. When he saw the coast was clear, he quickly kissed George's lips. "I'd like to see you try to get another Captain drop all his work to cater to your professional whims."

"You're willing to let me try? I'd have guessed you'd be the jealous type."

"Good guess," Cragen growled, wrapping his arms around the smaller man's waist.

"Good thing one captain is all I need then," George replied, enjoying his lover's embrace until a loud phone ring startled them out of their reverie.

Don stepped back quickly and cleared his throat and quickly changed the topic to more professional thoughts, "Never understood why are kids are so addicted to these games."

George appeared deep in thought as he sat back on the couch, "This is really not my area of expertise. Maybe people feel it gives them something lacking in their lives. Or they feel it gives them purpose; having a quest to complete motivates them."

Captain Cragen considered this as he sat back on the couch, "Maybe that's why I'm not getting so far, having a princess waiting for me at the journey's end isn't a proper motivation to complete the quest."

"Well…" George mused, leaning in close to whisper in Don's ear, his hand reaching and caressing Don's crotch, "If you can save the princess, I can think of a certain prince willing to give you a proper 'thank you' tonight."

"…Hand me the controller."

George smiled and passed on the controller, "My hero."
