Running was all they could do. And if it wasn't for the slippery snow and frantic screams behind them they could simply walk to their destination.
But his hand grasped hers tighter, urging her to try harder. To go faster. Because even though the people behind them were once friends, they seemed evil now.
There was some sort of understanding in both him and her. That they were most defiantly going to die. No matter how much they ran. Or how much they wished there was some light at the end.
It was just a coffin. With red velvet embodied on their cold sides.
"Ulquiorra"
His eyes, green shining looked at her. Begging her to not talk in this moment. She went on.
"Let's stop running."
Her chestnut hair, lay wet with sweat on her shoulders. Small huffs in her breath. Seeing her beat, and barely making her heart work brought him to misery. But what else could they do? Aizen was after them. The Shinigami Court Guard was after them. The world was after them.
"Orihime. Just..."
The noise of screams and different warriors releasing their swords was coming closer. Running wasn't going to save them. Never, and not now.
He leaned down, so his eyesight was in hers. Black hair canvassed his face.
"I love you."
And his lips meet hers before the ocean they ran from finally drowned them.
The End
